Welcome to the land of Pee Pee No No's and Spew sheilds!  have a laugh, get the scoop and let some of the anger and frustration out here.  We don't bite....well most of us don't 

I was working on my taxes, yeck...anyway I finally found the first payment I made to WP on 8/4 I joined in July on around the 27th.  When I left on 9/4 I was billed for an additional 9.95 before I could close my store.  So I paid $20 for just over 39 days!!! and NOT a single legitimate sale!!  I had three feedbacks which I purchased and sold to friends who were just setting up stores so we could see how the invoicing and feedback system worked.  In our feedback we stated that they were test sales and on my about me page I even said that I had tested the sales process so I could see what my customers went through during a purchase.

I got banned for life because I ..... changed all my personal information to a single letter after sending an email to request my store be closed.  I was threatened and like others here received very nasty emails!! Gotta love Raybil/Karay/the bathrobe monster!

Anyway, glad you found us.

I know what you're saying, sweetie. I just get SO FRUSTRATED at some of the Poppers. These people are having a Koolaid fest on railroad tracks as they sit stupified. Meanwhile a freight train is rolling down the tracks blowing its horn in their ears, and they simply ignore it, pray and wait for divine intervention to stop the train before they get pancaked. Oy vay!

We have stated IRREFUTABLE FACTS that PROVE Poopland is a sham. 2 and 2 does not equal 5 in anybody's world. What "personal" proof do they need? ARE THEY THAT DETATCHED FROM REALITY? Are Poppers THAT brainwashed that they are really believe black is white and Ray walks on water? Sure, I wanted Popland to be more than it was when I joined, but the minute I saw something that DID NOT ADD UP (and you don't have to go far or be a genius to find something), I didn't just close my eyes and pretend it didn't exist. I investigated WHY it didn't add up. Was it my math, my logic, my perception?

What Ray does to Poppers is shameful. Take a look at EyesWide. What did this Popper say? "I seriously believed I was the only one with questions about the way things were being run." Separating and alienating members from access to information that might expose the "leaders" and discredit their "cause", is as CULTIST AS IT GETS.

New peeps, glad you could join us. Don't feel bad about those lingering doubts, questions, and confusion. It has been the collective experience of everyone who came from WP and currently posts here.

WP did appear to show promise at first, it grew quickly, and then the strange behaviors started to become obvious. WEWO(witheyeswideopen) I wish you great success wherever you are setting up shop.

Powerseller, I do believe you regarding feedback. One of my first purchases on WP was for 2 items from the same seller. Now I thought I had left her feedback for both items. A month later she emailed me and asked me to leave feedback for one of the items. I went in and it took me 3 times to submit it. If buyers are linking to your items from froogle, and are new to WP they probably wouldn't have a clue how to do it, and might miss the feature. It isn't as easy to find as on Ebay.
The questions that others have asked you really need to be answered by Ray.  It is however a very disturbing fact that the listing counts never change on the homepage even when there have been recent store closures with lots of items.
I wish you continued success with your business, you have a nice store, good luck to you.
Just remember that your current success is yours alone. WP is only a venue, but any seller's success rests squarely on their shoulders. WP doesn't need you to defend it. That is Ray's job. Deciding to sell on the venue is a personal decision, as it is equally the right of anyone to not sell on the site.

Don't lose your common sense PS, it is easy to do when you believe in a cause so much that you lose sight of its flaws/faults. There are serious inconsistencies and way too much secrecy around this site.

Even though I have no seniority here, I have a few things I would like to say about the poppers who remain.  Yes, I think there are some who walk blind in the WP fog.  This group will blame the entire world when WP folds - they will never blame management.  Trying to convince this group is a hopeless cause.  There are others who know and are trying to find their way out.  Others are leaving and the numbers don't reflect it.

This is a good place to vent.  But, the importance of this board is to provide information for those who don't know what really goes on there.  I found this board because I read on another board about the "sick" and "twisted" people who post here.  I knew right then and there this is where I would get my answers.  You have to be looking for the truth to find it.  

There is a person at WP, who used to post regularly.  He is now very quiet.  His arrogant posts sent waves of anger through me.  Although, I do like his photos.  Can anyone tell me if he is a relative of Ray?

cmminis where else are you going to get information, parody, and pee pee no-no's. I am still trying to get truth and alskling to cough up some revenues from ebay, seeing as we have been referred to as ebay employees.


You are right about those who have gone into collective denial, they will stay even if the site closes, and blame everyone for its failure, and not see the truth even if it hits them squarely in the face. They need to believe in the "dream world of it", and cannot see the reality of it. That is why it is called "Blind" faith.

Oh, how well, I know who you're talking about. Go back a couple hundred pages and you'll see my posts on how this "bastian of civility" (ha) treated me when I was a Popper. Don't know if he's related. Claims he isn't. But when it comes to Popland, it's hard to know what to believe.

Alskling and Truth... Just to chime in here for a second about the argument with PS/Angel... I agree with YOHB that we need to stay focused on why this thread is here and not go overboard arguing with one person.  Unfortunately, because they refuse to listen to reason, they will have to get screwed over before they will admit that WP is not the best choice of a venue. 

Also, in consideraton for what you mentioned on being a buyer vs. being a seller, I consider anyone who sells to be a seller, regardless of what or how much they sell.  I've read PS's posts and I also remember her from the WP forums as Angel.  She has a physical disability from what I understand so she also buys a lot because it's hard for her to get out of the house.  I don't know why that makes her less of a seller in your eyes, but it doesn't in mine.  I commend anyone who is working hard trying to make a living and/or make themselves a better life regardless of what venue they sell on.... or buy on, for that matter.

Feel free to correct me if I've misunderstood your posts... I just want to make it clear that I am here to inform others about the deviousness of WP, make friends, goof around and overall just hang out.  My intention is not to attack or "pick on" one single seller.  As YOHB mentioned, Ray is the target because of his BS... not the sellers.

Don't post anything having to do with your store or your identity here. KaRay lurks here and KaRay will ban you from Pop Land for posting the truth here. It happened to me. I had been threatened with banishment for asking legitimate business questions. I quit posting there, was only posting here. Someone here made a comment to me, and within an hour, that comment was made to me in an email from KaRay with my final warning. With no further posts at Pop Land, no further communication from KaRay, and only posting here, within a few hours, I was banned from Pop Land. Coincidence? I think not.

This is a sad fact! I agree that you shouldn't reveal your identity until after you have closed your WP store but isn't it a sad fact that you have to hide from reality or Ray will ban you and charge an extra month to boot.


Note to Ray:

Ray you hide behind Karen's skirt and push delete when it suits your needs. Why do you continue to mess with peoples lives the way you do? You are a shamefull person to drive people to a point of secracy when posting outside of your site for fear of loosing there hard work. Where is the faith and trust in that. Ray you are nothing more then a scam artist!!!!!
