Thank you for posting the newsletter. I am just getting in from a Super Bowl party so it will take me some time to pick this one apart. I see Ray put his name on this one well at least we know who to blame for the stupidity in the newsletter this time. Right off the bat I see Ray must have FAILED 4TH GRADE MATH.

I see the karma gremlins hit me hard today. That's ok I understand your frustration karma gremlins, it is a hard thing to dispute the facts and truth. If it makes you feel better take all the karma you wish I have NO USE FOR IT. Giving up posting by the karma gremlins has given them more of an insurgency role here on TT. Don't worry TT members however, TT is more of a democracy and not like the monarchy of WP. The karma gremlins insurgency will be put to an end in the short term.

Ray, Ray, Ray I have been waiting for these statements for a long time. Thank you Ray for showing us all that you are in fact a complete idiot. Ray your numbers show a total of 803 stores? Do you think we are blind? I clearly remember the stores topping out at 939 but I also understand how people come and go so the actual number of stores that were on WP as a whole or at any given time would be much higher then even the 939. Okay Ray let me explain this to you how this works. Stores open and stores close, it happens everyday and not just on WP.

Don't you remember a while back before the stores fell below the 700 mark a ratio was discused of how many stores would close as new ones would open. I remember Ray and so do many others. It was clearly stated in the WP forums that the ratio was 3-2. Yes 3 stores would close and 2 new ones would open.

Let me go easy on you with this first one Ray. Based on 939 at the peak and 370 now the difference is 569 stores that have closed. Now take the 3-2 ratio and add 2 thirds of those closed stores back to the original 939 (939+380=1319). Yes Ray it is simple math but you failed to report the facts of the situation. So now you say the retention rate for Stores is 73.2% net, no Ray it is the complete oppisite of that. The real retention rate for stores is 28.05% based on the information your CC rep has provided.

Remember Ray the 370 store number stated is a number YOU STATED and we both know you have active stores with ZERO listings in them.

Care to challenge my numbers Ray?

First a math lesson for Ray. Ray please take notes so when I explain this one to you you will have the correct formulas to solve your problems.

2+2=4

Always remember to check your math here is another example for this take notes now Ray.

2+2=4 to check 4-2=2

Now this is an important one Ray and should come in handy for your next newsletter.

99.09%+.003%+.007%=99.1% But wait I thought we were dealing with 100%?

OK here is what it should be Ray:

99.09%+.25%+.66%=100% There Ray and don't worry about it honest mistake and it happens all the time to YOU! You may want to consider hiring an accountant.

Now back to your stupidity in the quote below:

I in no way agree with the above sales figure but it is what you have stated and I like to play games as much as the next person so lets play games Ray what do ya say?

Wait one minute Ray we haven't discussed the rules of the games we are playing. I'll tell you what I will ask a few questions and you can get back to me about the rules for this feedback game.

1) Is the total feedback (21191) the total feedback of all site users buyers & sellers? In other words the buyer and sellers feedback that was received or is it based on transactions that received at least 1 feedback either from the buyer or seller.

2) Can we assume that 56.4% of all the transactions that resulted in feedback was seller to seller transactions? Reason why I ask is your inner circle members have stated that 95% of the time they don't receive feedback from people who are buyers only. What you have stated in the newsletter contradicts what they have been saying.

3) Can you please give us a better breakdown of what your feedback #'s represent? If I was a seller on WP or a member of the karma gremlin club I would feel like I was just thrown under the bus because what you have stated supports what TT posters have been saying all along that feedback is a pretty good judge of the site activity as a whole.

That is all the questions for now on this one Ray oh and by the way if you need help with the math no problem, just post them and I will check your work as above and make the corrections as needed.

And what about the users that received positive feedback? How many of THEM (like myself and most other X-poppers here) had POSITIVE feedback and are no longer registered users or BANNED FOR LIFE? If the real retention rate is only 28%, then 82% of the users who received POSITIVE feedback are also gone. Add to that 99.1% positive is nothing to brag about, especially when it comes from other WP sellers (who by Poppers' own admittion are the only ones who leave feedback) with few UNIQUE trading partners. And how about this one?

Are you telling us that 7.2% of the users who received the negatives are STILL registered? How many negatives does a seller have to receive before being kicked off WP?

Truth and I were banned from WP for highlighting the glaring inaccuracies in Ray's math and logic.

Nowhere in the Universe does 2 + 2 equal anything other than 4, except in WaggleWorld, and Ray intends to keep it that way.

I think we can safely say that the Karma Gremlins follow the same 3-2 ratio as talked about in relation to stores that have closed and ones that have opened.

Would SOMEONE please explain to Ray that eBay store sellers DO NOT run 1000 items active. This is the biggest wombat poo poo WaggleSpin I've seen! Ebay sellers DO NOT have stores without listings in them. As a typical eBay store seller I can speak with experience when I say I only run about 30 ACTIVE listings on a continuous basis. All my other 800 items are in my STORE! I use my active listings TO MARKET MY STORE LISTINGS . Furthermore, few of my ACTIVES have BIN option.

Again, Ray tries to deceive Poppers with this ludicrous statement!

OK, Karma gremlins. You already socked it to me last night, deleting 5 points WHEN I DIDN'T EVEN POST, so here's your chance to really SOCK IT TO ME!

Edit: And, just to add another point. All my listings, including store listings, are uploaded into Google Base, so they receive the same search "exposure" as WP's "main site" listings.
