WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY
Innovations and Features?
Bolding Mine: Quote:We will continue to innovate and rethink convention whenever appropriate and possible. The internet reflects a rapidly evolving landscape of both opportunity and pitfalls, and our ability to recognize and act upon those forces will continue to drive the features, tools, and elements of Wagglepop with each passing day. As the year moves on we will start to market specific elements which differentiate WP from the other options available for online buyers and sellers. I see Ray, there is the marketing plan spelled out in bold. It's a little late however but lets take a look at some of those elements together. First one on the list: Quote:SmartSell Pro Package Ray I am proud of you, you got the math right for once, but wait you are not telling the whole picture here are you? Always the same thing with you Ray the first thing you like to market towards is your customers, the sellers. That's right Ray these are your buyers so let's lure them in right out of the box with the new marketing plan if there really is a marketing plan to begin with. ***TT posters excuse me while I point out a few facts of the differences between eBay and WP. Please remember I am in not trying to toot the eBay horn but only stating the facts.*** I see you tried to gear this towards the new fee increases that happened already at eBay but it didn't work Ray. $3415.95 for a months worth of core style listings on eBay (1000 listings relisted 3 times). Remember the old adage it takes money to make money? In this case that is 100% true. Ray is talking about less then 1% of the sellers on eBay that run 1,000 core style listings or more and have a store. What he failed to tell everyone is that there are a few sellers that do pay that kind of money every month and a lot more for there eBay listing fees. please note they are nothing less then GOLD LEVEL POWERSELLERS. They are NOT the typical eBay seller or typical online sellers at all. They are what every online seller dreams of being, very well off. They have the ability through there niche markets to control price so most other online sellers will never be able to compete with there prices. Your number is to low in regards to eBay. You will not find one of these non-typical sellers who doesn't have at least another 1,000 store listing items. Another thing you failed to relay in your message Ray is that if your item doesn't sell the first time on eBay you will get a listing fee credit if it sells the next time. That changes the numbers again. I would like Ray to show us just 1 of these sellers who doesn't have at least a 50% sell thru rate on there items. They are making money Ray. yes they are spending a lot of money in listing fees but the return on there investment is far greater then what any of WP seller will ever achieve on WP. Have you ever heard of a company called channel advisor Ray? If not check it out. Many of the sellers you are talking about use this company to market there products on other sites like yahoo, amazon & a few more. The sellers you are talking about sell through there own websites as well. Something you won't even allow the WP sellers to mention anywhere on WP if they even have there own website. Ray, SmartSell Pro vs. eBay get real Ray. There is no comparison. Stop comparing WP to eBay it only makes you look bad Ray. Compare WP to other alternatives to ebay. Try spending $9.95 a month on eCrater or blujay. Wait I forgot eCrater and blujay won't take your money they are 100% free alternatives. Maybe try Tazbar Ray. I'm sorry they charge final value fees only. I'm sorry Ray there is no comparison to your scam site WP. Quote:We will continue to innovate and rethink convention whenever appropriate and possible. Changing colors on your site pages isn't innovative Ray, it is part of the rscript software. Adding new features is part of the rscript software. The only thing new about the features is that you haven't pushed the buttons to turn them on yet. Your red carpet program isn't dynamically unique. Any rscript site can run the same type of program if they have turned the feature on. The same thing goes for : Buy More Now with DynamicDiscounts Scheduled End Times and Automated Relisting Expansion They are all features of the rscript software and can be found on any number of rscript sites. There is nothing innovative about turning on a feature of a program Ray. It is your Responsibility to Membership to advertize your site to new markets and places so your customers will have customers to sell to. That is where you have failed Ray. You had a chance to do it but that time is long gone. The members are long gone & they will continue to leave because of the limitations of the site due to you actions. Ray one last thing tonight. You are the laughing stock of your community (WP), your town, your county, the state of New York and the online auction industry. Get that fork ready Ray & be preparred to stick it where the sun don't shine. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." X-POP NATION, A real seller's network |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:$3415.95 for a months worth of core style listings on eBay (1000 listings relisted 3 times). Remember the old adage it takes money to make money? In this case that is 100% true. Ray is talking about less then 1% of the sellers on eBay that run 1,000 core style listings or more and have a store. That changes the numbers again. I would like Ray to show us just 1 of these sellers who doesn't have at least a 50% sell thru rate on there items. Spot on, Truth! This is exactly the point I was alluding to when I said in my post yesterday: Quote:Would SOMEONE please explain to Ray that eBay store sellers DO NOT run 1000 items active. This is the biggest wombat poo poo WaggleSpin I've seen! Ebay sellers DO NOT have stores without listings in them. As a typical eBay store seller, I can speak with experience when I say I only run about 30 ACTIVE listings on a continuous basis. All my other 800 items are in my STORE! I use my active listings TO MARKET MY STORE LISTINGS . Furthermore, few of my ACTIVES have BIN option. This is like making a comparison between a pussy cat and a lion. As with most eBay sellers, the bulk of my listings are in my store, where my average cost is 6 cents/mo per listing for listing and gallery picture. My core listings are treated as "advertising" for store listings, and have a sell-thru rate of about 50%. Furthermore, even though the bulk of my listings are not core listings, they get the same on-line exposure as the core listings on WP because I can upload them to Google Base. The only sellers running 1000 listings at any given time are those able to "clone" their listings, as the sell-thru rate is so high it would be next to impossible to create that many NEW listings every month. Quote:The sellers you are talking about sell through there own websites as well. Something you won't even allow the WP sellers to mention anywhere on WP if they even have there own website. Great point. A large percentage of these high-volume platinum sellers have web sites and simply use eBay and their eBay stores as an advertising conduit to direct traffic into the web site. When a seller is grossing $100K a month, spending $3K on "advertising" is a reasonable expense. IT'S THE BOTTOM LINE THAT MATTERS. Even $10/mo would be considered a TOTALLY UNREASONABLE expense if there are no sales. Not only is a seller wasting his/her money, but is spending whatever time and energy it takes to create 1000 listings with no results. In my opinion, the MOST ABSURD aspects of the newsletter are two-fold: A) Where's the news? None that I can see. B) Again, Ray feels compelled to BANG his message into Poppers' heads. If what you have to offer is so great, unique and wonderful, Ray, wouldn't it be self-evident? About one out of every two messages from Ray/Karay/the disciples has to do with convincing Poppers that SmartSell Pro is the best thing since indoor plumbing. This repetition of the same mantra until followers "believe" is brainwashing. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:but is spending whatever time and energy it takes to create 1000 listings with no results. A large percentage of eBay/online auction sellers don't take into account the value of their time. If you gross $1000 monthly and net $200 (many sellers fit that profile) but spend 120 hours doing it you're making sweatshop wages. Quote:convincing Poppers that SmartSell Pro is the best thing since indoor plumbing. The $39.99 monthly I pay for Amazon's ProMerchant subscription (unlimited Marketplace listings) is a much better value than the $9.95 Poppers pay for unlimited listings with SmartSell Pro because Amazon's traffic and number of buyers are fairly close to eBay's levels (and for media items it is better than eBay). EDIT: ...and with Amazon (unlike WP) there is no need to spend time doing marketing the site should have done to bring in buyers--they are already there waiting to buy. -------- More dynamic growth overnite: 365 stores this morning. |
