I have not done this in awhile, but I found these posts tonight from popland and...well...you read them. This was the first OP...

I still always look here first for things I need/want but some of the categories are still a little sparse. We need some more sellers - ones that stick around!
Your sales will come XXXXXXXXX! Don't forget to inform all your old customers. I've also done up a lot of promotional material at Vistaprint (it's cheap) and postcards with discounts, bus. cards etc. go with every parcel. My husband also never gets to leave the house without a pocketful of business cards!

Don't get discouraged. WP is still growing. And yes it does get scary when the store numbers fall. But many of those stores were never really making the TRUE effort it takes to keep a store... and they never paid the $9.95 per month to keep it.
Spend the time tweeking your store, adding inventory, advertising your store, and getting organized for when the sales do come in. Having an online business requires alot of minor changes both on the visual side and behind the scenes, so take the time you have to think about what kinds of changes you could make either now or in the future.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....after I posted that, I went in to look for more BS and a message came up that my ID/password are invalid. So...I guess that will be my last wp findings. Oh well, it's the same ol' BS as it always is anyways.
