Sweet, I want to ask you to post regularly, as well. If I am one of the posters you reference, I extend my apologies to you and to all.

Even tho Truth may sound a little nutty, lol, I think he might have a point about PS and the brawl that went down. Just for what it stands for. It made me think, if it had been someone else, would we have cared so much??

My little tidbit, just because I feel like saying: My dad has cirrhosis and isn't expected to live past the end of February. He lives in Michigan, we live in Ohio, and I just found out he's really doing that bad. I'm making arrangements to see him this weekend (it has been at least 6 months since I have, isn't that horrible?) but it will likely be the last visit. And, yet, he's still drinking.. even tho he's been told he can manage and live a longer life if he quits! Sad

It completely baffles me. But anyway, I could use some advice on how to deal with him, because I'm angry and I just want to yell at him but I don't think it will make a difference. I will also be handling his affairs (something I've never done before) and could use a heads-up on what comes next. You can just PM me, as this thread isn't about me.

Edit: Just kidding! Cassini-Huygens actually landed on Jan. 14, 2005, but I happened to be listening to a replay of the minute-by-minute account. Just wanted to see who was paying attention and offer a little releif from the civil war at WP.

Miranda... so sorry about your dad.Â I wish I had some advice but I've never had to do what you're going to have to do.Â BUT... I DO KNOW how it feels to want to grab your father and shake him until his eyes are spinning... enough said on that subject.... whew!Â I wouldn't yell at him, what will it accomplish?Â You'll feel better to get it out but the guilt will eat you alive later.Â Just make him comfortable and know that you're a good daughter.
