Oh Romeo, Romeo, where are thou Romeo (ORUS to us),
I just got another spam email from that pesky WP seller. Again the email addresses were exposed for all to see. As you are on the list I assume you got it too. Well that does it for me, I'm responding this time to make my feelings about this quite clear! Edited because I can't spell on Thursdays...or Fridays...or Saturdays etc. And to respond to ORUS, Yep that's the one!!
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

You mean this one??....I am sooooooooooooo sick of this!!! Quote:Snowbound Shoppers!!
This is the second one I received from this guy too. A long time ago on WP he posted on the board saying that he had some site that had info. on it about auctions and selling online. He also wrote some kind of article on this site. He said anyone who wants to go check it out email me and I'll send you the URL to it. A lot of people including myself contacted him for the link to go see his site. I think this is how he got most of the email addresses. I know I never did business with him on ebay or WP. Here is the email he sent me about the site I received this email on 9/29 so he must have posted on the WP board somewhere around that time. Quote:www.auctionvoice.blogspot.com |

Quote:www.auctionvoice.blogspot.com
This is SUCH CRAP! YOHB: I suggest you copy and paste on the forums at WP. Explain that you are a buyer, this was THE SECOND unsolicited spam from this person -- that you have NEVER done business with this person, and due to the spamming NEVER WILL and will encourage everyone you meet and know, including current Popper contacts you've maintained, to likewise NOT DEAL with this "seller". These boinktards need to be SHAMED by the cult community -- if such a thing is possible. Responding might get you off THEIR list, but it won't help curb this repulsive marketing tactic for anybody else -- either now or in the future. You might further mention that sending spam such as this is now ILLEGAL, and has been reported. Apart from that, it reinforces the notion that WP is an unprofessional, kiddy site full of scammers. Karen might delete the post -- or she might even praise the "enterprising" efforts of this "seller". Either way, this crap needs to be exposed, otherwise they'll just keep on keeping on -- the email list will get longer and longer. And since the email addresses are public, anybody can pick them up and sell them for profit to scam artists the world over. |

www.auctionvoice.blogspot.com Thank you for the encouragement. Feel free to leave comments. I am planning to advertise for stores that are listed on WP. Please let me know if you are interested. It seems that WP is FULL of honest owners that are putting forth great effort to bring customers to their sites while "boycotting" Ebay. I think this is great. The hurdle to jump now is to get the word out. Thanks again for making us feel welcome.
If you follow the links you will learn alot about this seller. In 5 minutes I already know what types of products they are into on eBay (scary thought too check it out and you will see what I mean). This is good advise to follow if you really want to know the truth about WP. YOHB, You can back me up on this one. We do this all the time and believe me some of the info we have found is out of this world. It will amaze you how many times you will end up in eBay from following the links through WP. It would make me wonder if I was a buyer shouldn't I have started in eBay in the first place because I seem to end up there quite often. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.."
