Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Sherrand, she is finally turning the corner and is getting better. It sure has been a tough week for all of us, but especially her. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing for her now. She is being moved to a rehab hospital and will be there for a few months.
You ain't kidding that vista is crap. I didn't choose to get it....it was all I could get. It is extremely hard (just about impossible) to find a new computer without vista. I work at a big electronics store, and when we first started getting the info on vista, I know it was going to be trouble. So I will just have to muddle through with it until/if they ever get the bugs/kinks figured out and fixed.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
racedream, I just got a new laptop too and it came with Vista and I really, really, dislike it. Even some of the software that came installed with it, like the sound card software is having severe issues with the drivers. UGH So my new laptop sits on a desk and is being unused. >
Why oh why didn't they leave things alone. I'm seriously thinking about going out and getting a copy of XP, wipe that hard drive and install XP. But it pisses me off that I have a new laptop and it is almost unuseable. AND! It's so terribly slooooooooooooow. I hope that MS gets all of this crap ironed out soon. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Been, yours sounds a lot worse than mine. I'm just can't use some of the older programs I used on the old laptop, and can't install my printer software. You sound like you have lots more problems. If the sound card software is having issues with the drivers, and it is running slow, that sounds like vista is taxing your system.
What version of Vista are you running? Did they by any chance put a version of Vista (upgrade from basic to ultimate or higher) on your laptop that the system can't handle? I know that if you don't have a powerful enough system, only parts of Vista will work and it will really slow down your computer.

Chiquita, I missed you too
Boys gone wild at my house. That would be interesting, but with all I have been through, I really have to think about that one. I'm one tired old lady from being at the hospital so much, and all the driving there and back (50 miles round trip, and I was doing that twice a day). I'm going to need a vacation when this is all over.

Sounds good to me! I'm ready for some warm weather and sun. A white sandy beach with pitchers of margaritas would be awesome right about now
When are we leaving?

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hello fellow TTers. I'm here sherrand - reading tonight a little bit before I hit the hay Hadn't been here in so long, had a boatload of pages to catch up on! to all the new folks! This is quite the informative site and a lot of times......entertaining to say the least. Gotta break up the monotony, ya know? Can't remember what page/pages I saw lately someone was talking about having rats. Real rats. We have lots of rats and they are the ultimate of pets - so much fun and such personality to boot! I must say, at first when my now 25 yr old son was 17 and came home wanting rats or snakes - well let's just say, I opted for rats, no slithery things at my house. We've had quite a few now over these past few years and lots of cages. Let's see, what else.......new computer. I had to bite the bullet and get a new one in January too. I do not have Vista. It is Vista ready and I could get it free via a rebate, but I haven't sent it in yet. I do sell on the bay and I love TL2. Contrary to lots of people, I have never had one single problem with it, but I do understand and have read a lot though, that people that do have Vista, ebay's programs aren't compatible with it and people are hoppin' mad at the ol' Gates character. Well, time for me to hit the hay - the special needs kiddo at my house doesn't recognize a Saturday from any other day to get up at the a_ _ c_ _ _ _ of dawn and won't sleep in! Everybody have a good evening or morning, wherever you are and sherrand if you're flying, happy and safe landing!
