Hey thanx nana girl, I appreciate it. Yea, I know I read not too long ago the gremlins were out in full force. What goes around comes around - not to worry. Battling a sinus headache again, scratchy throat, and feel like I've been punched in the eyeballs! Off to lala land! C-ya.

Been, yours sounds a lot worse than mine. I'm just can't use some of the older programs I used on the old laptop, and can't install my printer software. You sound like you have lots more problems. If the sound card software is having issues with the drivers, and it is running slow, that sounds like vista is taxing your system. What version of Vista are you running? Did they by any chance put a version of Vista (upgrade from basic to ultimate or higher) on your laptop that the system can't handle? I know that if you don't have a powerful enough system, only parts of Vista will work and it will really slow down your computer.
Hi race, Not too sure what version I am running. I put the CD in the case, which is in the room where the granddaughter is sleeping, so I'll check it tomorrow and see. I just got the dang thing abut 2 weeks ago and I've Been There and Done That with Dell NO Help Line/Customer NO service, but that was with a new PC that I got about 5 months ago and the new monitor was blowing up. So, I don't want to go back to Customer NO Service to see what the hell the problem is. So, I will try to iron it out here, with some help from the many message boards concerning Vista. HOPEFULLY MS will come out with an update soon????? But I will check on the version tomorrow. Edited because I forgot to add. I have 3 GB of RAM installed here, so memory should not be an issue? |

Good Morning Everyone,
Congrats to all on the good sales. I have been so busy lately, I have not had a chance to post. I tried to sneak down this morning to get a few minutes to myself and have a cup of coffee before the rugrats got up but as soon as I got the coffee pot brewing here comes my 5 yo. Its funny that he gives me a hard time getting up for school at 7:15 during the week, but then gets up at 6:50 this morning ready to play! Boy, is it hard to sneak a few mins. for myself anymore....lol Oh well, I just wanted to say hi to everyone and welcome all the new expoppers! ;D |

Morning All - Brat.......know EXACTLY what yer talkin' about! Although my youngest is 12, he's special needs and let me tell you, when he's up, the whole house is up! Hell on wheels till the first AM meds kicks in to settle him down. Get him up for school? Haha, that's a funny too, but come Saturday and Sunday......sleep in? What's that? I do the same thing with the coffee pot, sneak downstairs and flip the switch, but it's still noisy. Woke up to more snow! Goodness, Tues was nice, Wed was 72 degrees, tornado thru here at night, Thurs was cold, Friday (yesterday) was cold and blustery, wind chill 17, woke up today to a couple inches of SNOW and it's still coming! That's Ohio weather for ya! Off to the Post Office to mail a pkg. to Canada, then home to what else? Shovel. Yea! Everybody have a great day.

Morning Brat, Morning nj55! Sending some sun your way.
There is a thread on WP asking for diversity of people pictured throughout the website. Currently they are all young women. Someone started by asking for a few men to be represented and the conversation has evolved from there asking that different races etc. be considered. KaRay has been markedly absent from the thread as these posts will attest. Quote:xxxxxxxx 16 Mar 2007 23:29 Quote:xxxx 17 Mar 2007 00:13 Quote:xxxxxxxxx 17 Mar 2007 13:18 Of course if KaRay were to copy the practice of eBay as he has many other features (like the 'new' search feature for misspelled words) he could end the entire matter by not showing any pictures of people - just product.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.
Oh, NO! Don't take away the face photos. I'll absolutely die if I don't get my daily dose of Kiefer Sutherland's mug floating by on the home page. And out of all the celebs Ray could have chosen for this acclaimed position! I have no clue what Kiefer did to deserve this honor on such a prestigious site as WP (especially since I cannot find any movies, signed photographs, personal effects, or anything else related to Kiefer offered for sale), but good work, guy and kudos to your agent. to new members. Where is that Sweet girl? |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Good morning everyone and good to see some of the "old-timers" (not really OLD, but ya know!)
Its freezing here again too. Like some others, it was flippin close to 70 here on Wednesday then back to snow Thursday. I am SO sick of winter. I've lived in NY almost all my life, you'd think I'd be used to it by now. Uh Uh. I've been following the "diversity" discussion on WP too. I wondered if KaRay would grace it with his presence if only to say "We'll discuss it at our next morning session". Given his ego-maniacal disposition, I would have thought WP would be man-centric. But I don't know anything about the psychological inner workings of a moronic cult leader posing as a business person. I need coffee....
