chiquita, I have used mineral makeup for years. Unfortunately, until recently, all you could get was the high dollar stuff. I'm tickled pink that I am able to cancel my autoship now that it looks like I have a new supplier. You will love it!
I know it is not cheap, look at bare minerals as an example. If it's good enough for my sweet fine, it's good enough for this banana. |

I wouldn't mind looking like Sophia Loren, back in her younger days. Can miracles be made with this stuff? I don't wear make up, maybe once a year. Have anything for wrinkles and these dreaded laugh lines? I tried grabbing all the skin and pulling up from the top, but the barretts I'm using don't seem to hold skin well.

Spackle! Now why didn't I think of that! This aging sh!t has got to go! I'm tired of looking in the mirror and saying..."Now WHO is THAT old woman? When the hell did I get OLD?"
And then to hear some 20 something refer to me as..."Well like...(snapping her gum)...the people from like... back in YOUR generation...." O...M...G....I sooo want to smack the sh!t right out of them at that moment. Or give them a time out or something. Maybe I should just settle with being "the old wrinkled lady, the old biotch down the road." edited to add...I hate that wombat poo poo nonsense. |

Congrats banana girl for losing weight! Did you buy all new clothes??
I actually lost it over a year and a half ago. I did buy new clothes, and even got modern styles. 8) I still live in my sweats at home. Problem was the fat was a great filler for those lines on the face. :blinkie: Yup nothing like hearing your favorite tunes being played on the oldies radio station. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Was just thinking about how long it's been since I worked at a job that I would wear pretty clothes, make up, and do my hair. It's been...forever! I wouldn't know the first thing to do right now if I had to. It was a nightmare finding something nice for my middle sons college graduation this past May. I had my hair done, nice clothes, nails done...that was a first by the way! and then the moustache disappeared that day as well. I resembled a woman! It was quite the transformation! I almost cried when my son saw me and told me I looked beautiful. Then I had a fleeting thought...."You know....maybe I should do this more often...."
But then I remembered...ummm...looking like THIS took all day! I don't have the time or the patience. So I changed my mind. And besides, waxing that moustache off hurt like hell! But I have started making my own bath & beauty products, so maybe I'll start enjoying this girly thing again. If I come up with some good spackle, wanna try it out? I need some guinea pigs that aren't related to me. They are all telling me my stuff is great & feels & smells wonderful....but they are family. So in other words, I need some honest opinions. :o |

Quote:The only reason we were right from the beginning was because we'd started diversifying away from eBay years ago and had already been screwed by Ray-types in the past and knew what to look out for (and we knew Ray from FAS and knew how he operated). I think every seller goes through the same learning curve when they first branch out and in the end emerges as a stronger seller because of their bad experiences/mistakes. Amy this is true. I guess sometimes we have to learn by going through the experience ourselves. Quote:Good to hear that your hubby is home and feeling a bit better! Thank you Amy
Scoop, glad to here hubby is doing better. Best wishes on a speedy recovery. Super glad you are out! I love your things - just wouldn't buy from WP.
Thank you Fine. I know what you mean about not wanting to buy at WP. I won't be not because of the sellers I purchased quite a bit from sellers there and they were great. Anyway some of them are not there anymore and a lot of them sell on other venues so I can go there if I want to make a purchase.
Scoop, How would you like to be a TT beauty consultant. I have never tried mineral makeup before, but want to. So how much makeup will it take to hide wrinkles, skin discoloration, and have the results make me look like Selma Hayek? :blinkie: :blinkie: :blinkie: I know the answer. A semi-truck load wouldn't even be able to do it. Seriously though, if you are fair skinned, with the beginning signs of discoloration, which shade is a good one. BTW your prices are awesome.
Chiquita lol and thanks. Well if your fair skinned I would say either light beige which works well with any skin tone or maybe #3 neutral light which works well if you have any ruddiness or pink undertones. I've used the light beige myself I have a little discoloration and little red viens around my nose which I got years ago due to the stress of pregnacy. It worked very well for me the coverage was good.
chiquita, I have used mineral makeup for years.
Fine is right once you try it you love it at least I did so much I started selling it lol. I'll never go back to liquid again I found that after using it a little bit my skin looked better. When I needed more I was unable to buy it from the same seller that's how I ended up selling it. As far as wrinkles and those dreaded laugh lines go the minerals don't build up in the lines like liquid so this helps minimze them also the veils worn over the foundation helps to reduce the appearence of them as well. |

It's been...forever!
Same here I have not gone out to work in a long time. I work from home most days I get up grab my coffee sign onto work while still in my robe. It's been a few years other than last year when I had to go work on site for them for a couple of months. I still put on my makeup though I don't know why habit I guess I've worn it since I was very young.
