Any noteable closures sherrand?
I'm working on a summary now. KaRay already posted that 19 stores were 'suspended'. So far 6 were ghost stores.

Wow, that was quick!
There were 313 when I left a few hours ago. Lots of deliquent accounts. I can't even believe they even broadcast that. When you think about it, it doesn't reflect well on the company that so many people wouldn't be paying their accounts. If you're doing well and receiving something in return, you'd be glad to pay. Well, maybe it'll be back down to where it was last May by the time it rolls around again. It could've been a lot different. Rebecca

Ghost stores account for at least 10 of these that are gone. And KaRay just turned Gilbert Complaisance photography back on - AGAIN!! He/she/it must really like looking at those pictures. Me, I'm getting tired of seeing them crop up every month.
I wonder what's going on with this store it is odd that it keeps coming and going. This store was legit at one time I purchased a photograph from him way back shortly after WP launched. He sells on ebay too or at least he did last I knew. He's a very nice seller from Canada. I wonder if he is aware of this. It would seem kind of funny if it were him opening and closing like this why would someone do that. |

Quote:wagglepopCC1 28 Mar 2007 15:13 Give me a break. Note to WP sellers: Karen keeps telling you you're indexed and is using the word Wagglepop when searching for your indexed store. Leave that word out and guess what? Your eBay listing are coming up FIRST. Now tell me - who is going to specifically search for "wagglepop your-store-name"? No one that's who. Quote:We strongly doubt that there is any other selling outlet online that offers such an optimized environment for search engines as the opportunity on Wagglepop. Where is the TRAFFIC to back up your statement? Even IF you're that great at SEO, people still aren't buying. The real sales report under the Survey post shows that. Fat lotta good your supremely optimized site is doing for your sellers. Ray, you're a fraud.

At first I thought they were item counts but you have a couple with numbers that say 'empty but not closed'.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Sorry eclectica, I should have stated that. The number represents total of items (at my last count) that each store had at the time it closed. The empty but not closed stores could potentially come back so I did not give number of listings. Does that make sense?
