Well, I usually talk to myself, even when there are lots of people around, but I was trying to hide that fact on here. K, now the truth is out. 

Haven't answered myself yet though, but came close a couple of times. 

I wonder how long that post is going to stay there, or maybe they just might leave it on because I see nothing negative about the post.  Very innocent and truthful.

we have to have pity for the poor folks who feel that their lives
are so worthless that they can't find something better to do.
It is easier for them to blame WP for their own perceived lack of success
than it is for them to admit that they still have much to learn.

At the same time, for others it represents something new to treat with fear and disdain, extending what is likely a theme in their own lives of either disappointment
or underachievement. It's not really about Wagglepop, but more about themselves.

And who wouldn't like to be part of something successfull and be proud of it? Somehow my definition of "successful" does not extend so far as to include an enterprise that had lost 70% of its member base, which has taken its business elsewhere -- whose business has literally fallen off a cliff -- whose owner whines on the company boards about being broke and having limited resources -- whose members are wondering if they can "hang on" through the summer and are driven to support each other through mutual pity purchases. And if you find being associated with a known liar, con artist and hypocrite something to be proud of, then more power to you. 

Here Popper, time for your daily dose. 

If you need a family, get married and have kids. Or go join the priesthood so you can be surrounded by brothers. Real, thriving business environments are something else altogether.

Awful funny how someone on the outside feels the NEED to point out the errors of our ways and can't let things go. Just goes to show that everyone is human. We are trying to keep each other standing tall and strong, what purpose does your comments serve? I don't see any items for sale or a store under your name, so are you a believer or just here for the show and we fail?

Not an outsider at all. I have been a WP member for quite some time and I was selling on here, but not now at this time. Maybe I will be selling here again some day.

But somebody here pointed out that there were no negative notes on this thread.

I don't feel that I was being negative? Do you?

My comments served no purpose, only to point out that there were negative comments on this thread. Simple as that. But it does make those negative comments the same as the negative comments that you may have read on whatever boards. So, the pot should not be calling the kettle black.

I do not know what boards are being discussed here, but if there were negative comments on that board and you post negative comments, does that not make you the same?

Now, I'm under attack for pointing this out.

no, not an attack, but you answered that within minutes . I think what they meant about no negative comments were that noone here was blasting other auction sites trying to start up and becoming successful. There was some blasting of those who were blasting there, that's just blowing off steam to reassure that we WP founders and sellers I mean, must be doing something right to continue to still be operating. Afterall anyone can start a company, but it takes more than just the owner to make it work.

This WP founder has only been there since Jan.   Many of the founding members who started back in May when the site launched are no longer there.  Why?    If I were this popper that's the question I would be asking.

I wonder if they're going to give all members the founding member "honor," since there are hardly any founding members left.

Scoop, if I were this Popper, I would be asking the same question. Well, I did ask the same question. Why would so many sellers leave? And when I found the answers, I became an ex-popper, too.

And I have TT and some very good friends to thank for showing me the light.

Now here's a popper that's had way way too much Koolaid:

Ray could be a stuffed know-it-all blow-hard for all I care (ohmygosh, the stuff thats written about him!), but I respect him to the moon and back for having a belief and passion and not letting the first big fall get him down... don't know if I coulda done what he did, but this is the type of person who succeeds against all odds and I am BLOWN AWAY by his stand. He's got what it takes in the chutzpah area, and historically, that is more important than having $$ or glitz or advanced degrees.
