As for the head count at WP, I would guess it to be around 50 - 70 floundering sellers.  Closer to the 50 count because of all of their multiple stores and the ghost stores.

One guy there has been a member since August, has four stores (two of them featured), and shows only 2 sales for the last 30 days, each of them at $5.  :o Poor guy's spending $60/mo for all his stores which have given him a $10 return. The Congress could take lessons from him on deficit spending. How long can Poppers keep this up? Maybe he justs deducts it from his taxes as a "gambling loss."

This post is a bit older but shows further evidence of KaRay pointing the finger at the poppers that it is their fault, their lack of numbers, that is delaying the implementation of an improved invoicing system on WP.

The next version of InvoiceDirect should have the flexibility that you describe, but the ability for us to implement it (and when) reflects directly upon site participation numbers, and the revenues generated from that.

"Anything" can be done in terms of evolving the site, provided we as a company and community generate the revenues necessary to support the process of adding features and functionalities: exploration, design, wireframing, creation, testing, and implementation.

We have quite a few features and functionalities "in the hopper", and are simply awaiting approval of our requested budgets for each, which at this point should and must come from site participation generated funds Smiley

KaRay, if money REALLY is a crunch, how about taking some of that 75,000 slated for your non-existent advertising budget (is your TV spot ready yet?) and funneling it to your 'hopper' and get the damn invoicing problems fixed! If that won't work, add yeast, wait for it to ferment and sell beer!! Maybe you'd be more successful.

I've noticed a trend in posts like these lately.  "We *could* do this...but it's gonna take money."   Basically, he's telling the poppers if they want anything fixed, they better recruit some more sellers or open more stores to pay for it. 

To hell with buyers, he's only worried about increasing the seller base. 


BTW...how is that big Grand Opening, six month marketing campaign going?  Anybody seen any WP ads anywhere?

Yes, it does get tiring hearing how others aren't paying the bills and we do not need to hear it - the mall was a great example. And yes, the sellers there are CUSTOMERS!!!

Doesn't anyone have a customer service class they can give to WP?????????

Do you think they will ever close Sue's store Farvel Cargo? I hadn't heard anyone mention that one lately, it is still there.

Evening Everyone,

Is anyone else having a problem listing on Wagglepop tonight?

I keep getting this error message..

Software error:
Can't call method "status_line" on an undefined value at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/Business/Shipping/RateRequest/Online.pm line 119.

A surprising reply in that it didn't tell the seller this time that it was a problem at their end. But what further details can this popper provide outside of the post?

Hmm that's not the same error message I had the other night, mine said Can't call method "fetchall_arrayref" on an undefined value at lib/AUC/DB.pm line 3580.

Adding software burps to the list of woes the poppers contend with will really bring in more sellers...  :turkey2:

I'll second the Rat. No outing. We really are discreet; ask some of our newer members. We knew who they were but gave them the courtesy to unveil in their own time and their own way. We offer you no less. And thanks for the complement to the humour in this thread. Always good for the soul.

Offering KaRay a Customer Service course would be as effective as converting a leopard to vegetarianism. The pupil would eventually eat the teacher. And their spots won't change.

I too noticed Farvel not closed yet and neither is Just 4 Fun. Rat, you could be right that KaRay intends to add them to his delinquent stat.
