Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Flying High's situation is yet another example of a seller simply misunderstanding the billing terms. This happens time and time again, WP is correct, and yet posters here are lashing out at them. The invoice that this seller paid before requesting to close the store was the invoice for the fee that posted to their account on March 24th. The fee that posted to their account on April 24th still needs to be paid before the account can be closed, and the final month can NOT be prorated. This is very clear in the billing terms on the site, but yet seller after seller after seller gets mad at WP for no reason, and everyone here jumps on the bandwagon. Here we go again.......

You really should get the whole story (or at least read about it fully) before blaming THIS seller .... ~Patti~ |

[/quote] User391 that may be in some cases but not in every case. Some sellers have closed before another month was posted to their account and were still told they owed another month. Some people who never even listed or did anything have received emails from WP stating that they owe money. Also look at what happened to Truth this morning he did not do anything but post on the site and was sent a bill from WP. Ask yourself this question why doesn't WP have a link to close your store like every other site does? :blinkie: |

Quote:Ask yourself this question why doesn't WP have a link to close your store like every other site does? No need to answer, I know the reason. Ray paid $518.00 for the rscript boxed software and it didn't come with that feature. There is nothing for Ray to do in this case but wait for the rscript programmers to place a module for this feature. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." Edited to add: they are a little busy trying to correct security holes at this point. |
