Platz - That is hilarious!! You missed your calling. You should be a comedy writer. Your imagination and way with words know no bounds. So what if it's off topic, karma for you girl! I tore my main bathroom up in 1993. Yanked out the carpet, stripped the wallpaper, tore down the tub tiles. Had a neighbour offer to redo the tub area reeeaaal cheap. Fired him with very bad feelings 2 days later. Called on a friend who had done quite a bit of work in our home in the past. Took him 3 days to undue the damage and start over. Tub had to be replaced due to numerous chips left compliments of the first maniac. To date nothing else has been done. I call it my retro design room and swear to anyone who dares ask "it's supposed to look like that."
LOL that is too funny!! The bathroom is the last room to be done and to tell you the truth... right now... I couldnt give two flying rat farts (sorry rat ) if it EVER gets done... I am sooooo exhausted, I could cry. And funny you mention it... I am writing a book... it's a young adult reminiscent of Judy Blume style and am now going to start looking for a publisher. The manuscript is not complete yet so I still have time to do more research. If these breaks and repairs continue, I won't have enough money left over to afford wine!! LOL (ps... as the TT Wonderful Wino... I must confess, I drink a glass of wine a week... if that!!! it's just that sometimes I wish I drank more just so I wouldn't know I had all this broken stuff... nor would I care!! ) |

scoop, Unique, brat and others who are astounded at the lack truth in the posting of, Quote:The majority of stores that closed this year were either for non-payment, or the sellers may have listed a dozen items expecting immediate sales. consider this. The old crowd still selling on WP know better and their lack of agreement is coming through loud and clear from their silence to this post. Here's a recap of just some of the stores that had more than 12 items that have departed in the last few months. In fact, they all had between 2,000 and 8,000 items. And none of them left due to delinquency but out of disappointment in the performance of WP. The Barbisse Collection Arcane Sancturay Arto's Card Connection ChainMan Books Sports Card Galaxy Cards Galore South Central Mountains M&M Treasures and those between 1,000 and 2,000 Ozzie's World Odekirk's sherrand Gypsy Soul Discounts Fabulous Hollywood Memories Rocks Cards & Collectibles Mainly Hockey Cards Pure Micros SVS Collectibles Below 1,000 there are hundreds of stores that I could list that had more the 398 items as our naive poster currently has up. Many of you would be in this list. As for the majority of stores with less than 12 items that are gone, well I can say with confidence that the majority of these were ghost stores. Using the excuse of non-payment for these was KaRay's method of cycling them in and out. You've all done well and many of those listed above have too on better sites; either another auction one or their own. It is a waste of anger to give credence to the ignorance of one misguided individual. Don't give it another thought.
Ummm....Sherrand....I am feeling a little left out.... Kelli's Keepsakes and Postcards left the Wagglepop building with over 1700 items listed and ALWAYS paid my bill on time. |

Quote:Hello Members, Ok, this post has me in a tizzy soooo much that I really really really need to Quit blaming the sellers. You are selling something - space Who ever heard of brand new auction site that has staff??? Fire your staff and start spending at least half of the seller fees on advertising. You are a mall, advertise and let people know. Yes you supply the tools, but so do a lot of other sites, and for free. So, what is WP doing to make themselves better than anyone else??? Nothing. They ask the questions of "what more can we do" but when people answer and give suggestions, they get deleated and banned. Well, I will be definitely be commenting on it some time today. Now I just need to figure how I want to word it without getting all the avenging angels on me. I am usually pretty good about sneaking my questions & issues in without raising a ruckus, except during PMS (sorry guys) when I tend to be a bit snide. Selling there should be a give & take. You want more sellers than give me something other than a bill!! |

That is why I said SOME of the sellers. I don't have a complete list and I knew there were others missing so I only posted those from the time I started keeping hard records. Somehow I missed on yours. I'm going back right now to my original post and adding you. And if there are others here that I overlooked, please speak up.

How many other current sellers do you think will draw the same conclusions you just made and give their choice hard serious consideration. I await your post. And don't take all day, I hate suspense! :popcorneaters:
