Hi all,

I must start by saying this isnt meant as a negative post just what Ive seen and read on other sites about Why
and it hurts us all.Im not saying they are right or wrong.Ive never had a issue with any of this!
This is just my option as why sellers are jumping ship from what Ive seen on other boards.With that said.

1) Past sellers feel like they cant post what they feel is a legit question about this site with out getting censored and this makes them mad when their post gets deleted.

2) Slow down in traffic.

This was pulled off a google search for Wagglepop.Ebay has the Ad key word for wagglepop.

4) WP’s past.


The list is longer but this is the major reasons Ive seen.
Before I get a lot of hate mail or replys I do understand the board posting policy and will restate this is
just what Ive seen and not a issue for me.

So with that said to me the +’s out strip any of this.And the price point for being here cant be beat for what you get for your money!

Nope. They did not cover all I have to say. Mine is probably going to be a novel.

I went out to play with the children. Then, I come back in only to find another stinkin post.

I will pop on over when I am done, sorry for keeping you waiting but I am too mad, and need time to think exactly what I want to say. If I didn't I would just go in and say FU!  

For anyone to think this site is just about bashing WP is just crazy. Maybe some posts are nastier than others but the whole thing it boils down too is people were trying to voice their opinions to help and better WP. Even if they said it in a way that may sound offensive to people, it is still in bad form to just remove them and not STOP TO SEE IF THEY MAY HAVE A POINT.

If someone bashed something I sold, I sure am not going to say screw you. I would step back and try to see where they are coming from and see what I can do going forward to make it better.

This site is not about wanting the downfall of WP, I believe it is a place to vent frustration about an owner who doesn't want to listen to what anyone has to say!

Why come out chanting "We the People" when you totally ignore some valuable information given to you by "The People".

The last issue that bugged me was when a BUYER posted on a board, it went unanswered and they responded "we cannot monitor all the boards" yada yada yada, but how come you can swoop in and deleate a post on the sellers board the same day that only lasted about 90 seconds?? I hope there are others that noticed that.

Ok, now that I have complained here, let me take a breather, have some supper and I will have at it after the kids are in bed.

You warmed my heart with this part. You are a wee bit off in your comment that we want to better WP but you are dead on with your inference that we wish the sellers there no harm.

And the 'We The People' forum could have been turned on months ago with the flip of a switch and at no cost. But it hasn't happened. Has anyone else noticed that KaRay is setting up a 'profile' link through the forum? It was activated a few months ago  - was deactivated - and recently re-activated. Click on the blue user name of any poster and you will be redirected. No info there yet though. Is this a priority over other features that the sellers have been begging for?

I remember that one. A newbie posted on the new to wagglepoop board. 2 days later no response. I mentioned it here and within a short time two posts were created on Advanced Selling in direct relation to it. (Thank you Lurkers) CC1 came out on one of the threads defensively stating that they couldn't monitor all the boards. I personally don't see why not. There are only about 4 that get any action.

I'd like to address those points as best and clearly as I can, if I might:

1. Regarding deletion of posts, in the past twelve months:

Total Posts: 65,769
Posts Deleted: 72

I'd hardly call that some sort of overwhelming censorship campaign LOL

It's more a case of people expecting that we'll mimic the eBay dynamic, where they let anyone post anything, and then laugh all the way to the bank while doing so and raising fees randomly.

Here at Wagglepop, we have the extravagant notion that adults should post as adults, constructively and with respect.

Pretty basic stuff LOL

2. Regarding any "traffic slowdown", that depends on how traffic is interpreted relative to the source of traffic.

Yes, traffic is down at Wagglepop. It's also down at just about every comparable auction site on almost the exact same pace over the exact same period.

It is a reflection of all online traffic, not just WP.

3. Regarding what I assume is the Google AdWords sponsored links, that's just eBay's automated generator at work.

If enough people search for "Sir Puff and Stuff", you'll see an AdWords campaign kick in by eBay for it

4. Regarding the "past" of Wagglepop, well, for any real or experienced business owner, it's a non-issue.

Building a business the size of WP is hard. It's supposed to be hard. There will be stops, relaunches, errors of comission, errors of omission, errors of inexperience, daily issues, and the ever-present Murphy's law just in case that's not enough.

What's any of that got to do with succeeding?

Everything. It's business.

Ask any sucessful person what happened that counted most that led to their success, and many will tell you that it's their mistakes - the things they learned not to do, or to do better.

Holding "mistakes" against someone opening and supporting a company as large as WP is childish and churlish; and completely out of the scope of those with even the least bit of business acumen or experience.

Mistakes go with the territory.

It appears anyone who screamed to the high heavens about WP's diabolical evil overall plan was left looking like somewhat of a loon, but if continuing to spout such fabricated overreactive diatribe entertains some, they can just have at it.
