Whoa. Y'all correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the $75,000 first touted as coming from Ray's own pocket and that this money had been set aside above and beyond the first 6-7 months' operational expenses?

What they fail to understand is that $9.95 a month for a store is great if you get something in return.  Like the basics ummm traffic, some small amount of advertising for the site, a site with a home page to attract buyers rather than just sellers, how about a little bit of honesty...just to name a few.  Why pay that  $9.95 a month when he expects you to do all the advertising?  I remember waisting so much time trying desperately to drive traffic to my store when it should have been spent listing.  Wake up people!

Can anyone help me ID the type of wood this antique coffee grinder is made of?  Not sure if its pine or oak...Sorry to ask but I am not good with IDing wood and this is the last bit of info I need before listing it.

Brat, I have one very similar made in oak. I imagine yours is oak, too. Pine is very soft and though I certainly am no expert, heavily used items of yesteryear would more than likely be made of oak. JMO.

Thank you meowsnbarks!  I thought it was oak too but my grandfather thought pine.  I think he was looking at the piece of wood that is in the bottom of the drawer instead of the outside cabinet.

Off Topic and Off Color Morning Humor

Four men were bragging about how smart their cats were. The first man was an engineer, the second man was an accountant, the third man was a chemist, and the fourth man was a government employee.

To show off, the engineer called his cat, "T-square, do your stuff."

T-square pranced over to the desk, took out some paper and pen and promptly drew a circle, a square, and a triangle. Everyone agreed that was pretty smart.

But the accountant said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said, "Spreadsheet, do your stuff."

Spreadsheet went out to the kitchen and returned with a dozen cookies. He divided them into 4 equal piles of 3 cookies. Everyone agreed that was good.

But the chemist said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said, "Measure, do your stuff."

Measure got up, walked to the fridge, took out a quart of milk, got a 10 ounce glass from the cupboard and poured exactly 8 ounces into the glass without spilling a drop. Everyone agreed that was pretty good.

Then the three men turned to the government employee and said, "What can your cat do?"

The government employee called his cat and said, "CoffeeBreak, do your stuff."

CoffeeBreak jumped to his feet, ate the cookies, drank the milk, shit on the paper, screwed the other three cats, claimed he injured his back while doing so, filed a grievance report for unsafe working conditions, put in for Workers Compensation, and went home for the rest of the day on sick leave.
