Poll: Who is to blame for sellers leaving Wagglepop en masse?

But............this was not his first post on this topic...can you guess what the original one was?

I am kicking myself for not being fast enough to copy it.

The first one had a headline of stating something along the lines of "I closed my Store"

Then it said he decided to close his 4th store because it wasn't worth spending the money to keep only 10 items in so now he can focus on his other 3 stores, and has since taken that money and upgraded his 3 store to Featured Listing. And asked for everyone to remove the 4th store from friends pages.

Then the next post was from PS stating I noticed that today and have removed it. Then some other boosting nice comments.

Then poof, deleted. I guess it doesn't bother him, as he came right back and "reworded it"

See, if I hadn't spent so much time behind the gym.......

Store count 231! No soap for me. A lot of soap being tossed around on WP, and it looks like for good reason. WP is getting very SLIMEY these days. Check out this thread

Thanks DB. Maybe Ray should have tried to copy Etsy, as that is what appears to sell the most over there.

Ok, I am feeling neglected. No one commented on my previous post on how the man with 4 stores had his post deleted. Has anyone noticed him ever having one removed before?

FYI: "Sliming" is akin to "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" in the commerce world. This seems to be the order of the day at WP, and accounts for a large proprotion of the reputed "sells."

Hi Patty,

Yeah, I might think about a purchase for a few days or a few weeks or even a few years, but once I finally buy something, I'm ready for it! I want to pay and get it shipped.

I had the misfortune this weekend to fall in love with a couch. I've been shopping for one for about 4 years. We now have two full-sized teenagers but not a full-sized couch -- just a 12-yo loveseat. But it's just not in the budget right now. So I bought soap instead ;-)

I'm excited for my mom to get her soaps :-) With Priority Mail she'll probably get them by the weekend, huh?

Oh, and thanks for accommodating all my special requests ;-)

Slime refers to the act of one making a purchase -- usually a boardie (someone who participates on the discussion boards) buying from another boardie. It's used as a verb -- I slimed XXXX.

Hope that makes sense.

You are welcome! I love doing gifts for people. Yes, she should probably get them by the end of the week. They will be going out probably today on the way to Karate, otherwise no later than tomorrow morning. I like to hurry and get everything out of the way!

I can fully understand the couch thing! I have my hopes out for a nice table & chairs for my deck (currently sporting one of those melanite ones!) but the furnace needs to be cleaned & checked first as there is a bit of black soot near it (we have oil). So, gotta see what that is going to run us first! lol

XXXX & XXXX - "Slime" is a thread were people post what they just bought (or recently bought) from local sellers here on WP.

I know XXX doesn't have any young ones left at home, but Tonya - haven't you ever watched Nick?

I love sliming and enjoy being slimed

Here is my recent slime activity in the last few days:

Shopping spree at Pixie Soap to try out all Patty's spring floral fragrant soaps (and more). If you haven't tried her soap out, you are missing out on some great stuff!

Shopping spree at Unique Book Marks and Beads with a custom order for bookmarks plus a tile cell phone charm. If you haven't had a look at Tonya's store, go take a look. She has so many cute things, it will be hard to choose and she also does custom orders on some fabulous unique bookmarks:

Also had to spread a little slime to Way Back Vintage Ads where I found a really cool vintage ad for a garage door opener. If you haven't seen Brian's store, you need to check out all his cool stuff too. His store has lots of visual appeal along with being VERY well organized.

That is my recent slime activity....and there will always be more...

I slimed Ken at The Laptop Garage. Now I have a nice Dell on the way w/ PIII and WIFI ready. Whoo-hoo! And I will no longer have to worry about the world coming to an end if something goes wrong with my puter which WILL happen one of these days.

Good Evening Poppers!
I always slime uneeksam, I need her for my business, plus she's my best bud! lol! She has the best prices for all jewelry makers!

I also slimed Patty a few times and another shopping spree with her soon. I have tried her Mocha Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, Chocolate covered strawberries, and cotton candy soaps, I love, love love them all!

I have bought hair scrunchies from two wagglepoppers Little Bears Crochet Den and George's Avon Books and Crafts

I buy Pet supplies from All About Pets and Welch Valley Pets

I recently got some Candle tarts that I love fromThe Candle Hut

I got a ton of learning, mostly langauge books for my kids for summer fun, lol! from PegsBooksforyou

This past week, I just bought two items for myself from Phlepp's Treasure Chest

I also got 2 templates from Nikki, I still need to use (hopefully soon)

I got my Son a Birthday present from Mad Rick's

and even I buy other people's jewelry items if I like them so I got something from jewelry with heart

There are mostly likely more people I have slimed here ... I am trying to do all my sliming here and not at the other site anymore or as little as possible. If you have what I want, I will buy it! lol!

Good morning everyone!

I slimed Miss Brenda of Beads by Brenda Last night before bed. I wanted a new ankle bracelet! Fantastic stuff - Still saving for my custom mommy bracelet!

And before that was Christy's BookNook. I highly recommend the Stained Glass Color Books, those are so cool and look good on the glass with the sun shining through! Plus a nice selection of books! The kids like everything I got!

Wish List Slime - I want a watch and always check out Remotes for Less, there is one I want, but haven't been able to treat myself too yet! I am always browsing her store!

Morning Karma, as a matter of fact he has had one post that I know of deleted in the past. It was a thread he started a couple of months ago about sellers leaving. It received a couple of posts before it was yanked which was within the hour. Didn't phase him then either.
