Hello, I have been here since February, not only have I not sold anything I haven't even had a questions from anyone. While everyone is very nice and everyone chats and has good communications with each other, I need to produce income and it is not happening here. Sure the monthly fee is low but I would not pay $50.00 to sell a $10.00 item and the longer I stay the more I have paid in in fees and still no sales. I wish everyone the best and if anyone has an idea where I might list and sell I would love to here from you before I go and close everything in the next few days. Again all the best. Linda

Poof, gone.  She will be one of those who has to pay that final bill!!

Isn't anyone who is not having sales sick of hearing "I am sure it will pick up by next x-mas..."

Platzki, I am so happy to read the news about Dusty!!! 

I haven't been online much lately, but I try to keep up with this thread. I was sitting here crying about Dusty and praying I would see good news with the latest posts!!!!

It's so hard when our fur-babies are sick. Before I married Ed 6 years ago, I hadn't had a pet since I was a teenager. He had 2 cats, Buddy and Junior, who quickly took over the house and my heart. Buddy got cancer while I was pregnant with my son Charlie and I hand-fed him tuna fish and turkey, anything he would eat. When he couldn't lift his head anymore, we knew we had to let him go. Then 2 years later I was pregnant with my daughter Jodi and Junior got sick and we had to let him go, too. Ed was balling his eyes out when we took them, me, too, but Ed hardly ever shows emotion.

Now we have Molly, our 6-year-old long-haired mini doxie, and she is definitely just like one of my kids. I've even been fretting over the dog food recall lately. I wanted to change her food because with this recall, I've been reading a lot, and I want to give her something better, but I'm scared to change it now. Everything was quiet for a couple of weeks and I thought I would try something new, but now a lab in Houston has found acetaminophin (spelling?), yep, Tylenol, in dog food! They won't tell which brand(s) are involved. They notified the company a month ago, which was supposed to notify the FDA and never did. And they were foods not already on the recall list. This is way too scary! Now that the FDA is finally involved, who knows how many more foods and animals will be affected?!

Sorry I got off on a tangent, but I'm really glad to hear about Buddy!

And I can't believe WP is still open! I really expected it to be gone by now. Sounds like more and more sellers are getting tired of waiting for the buyers to come. I don't know how anyone could wait until Christmas when last Christmas was such a dud. WP had their chance when they had 900 plus sellers. That they didn't take advantage of the numbers and really push advertising speaks volumes. I guess I should be glad I got out when I did. It just burns my buttons that Ray is sitting back and collecting money for nothing, just preying on the hopes and dreams of hard-working sellers.

Grrrrrr.

WOW, I just read a post from Linda's Balloons. It was boarderline negative toward Wagglepop and now all of a sudden it's gone. I started this thread to hear the thoughts of store owners both positive and negitive. I have put too much work into my site to just quit but if the post was removed by anyone other than Linda.....Then this board is not what it should be, for the people by the people.

Who ever came up with that rule and why? I don't remember a "we the people vote for it."

I know I never voted for it.

For those who do have sales if someone posts they are closing, it certainly would not make them run and close their store also. So the only purpose it really serves is hiding the fact of store closures from other sellers who are getting no sales and traffic.

Good point xxxxx. Amazing that is the first time you noticed that though.

We have all of the Board Participation Policy points and the Clarification of Board Participation policy points constructed for one simple reason:

Constructive support is what this board and participating on WP is all about.

To allow the boards to be used for any other purposes is unfair to those members who are here to build businesses, relationships, and learn more about how to succeed.

There are plenty of off-WP boards that can be used for a variety of other purposes, but these boards are for members who are trying to build something together, constructively, without the needless sarcasm or criticism that this board does not support and makes for an uncomfortable and unproductive environment.

I would hope that this explanation would make clear the requirements for Community board participation moving forward
