***UPDATE*** Dusty is home!! OK...bare with e cause I'm really tired. The vet said that it would make our decision a lot easier if he took an xray to see if the tumor had cancer and to see if he had any cancerous masses in his body. So he took two xrays and NO CANCER!!!! We were thrilled!!! That means that with continued treatment he should get better! The lump got smaller overnight and he is eating and drinking. He is like a senior citizen now taking more meds than anyone I know... antibiotics, 2 nausea meds, painkillers and prednisone. But he's looking better and is right now staring at Bill cause he wants his pizza!! I hav no food in the house so I have to got to the grocery store now... so the humans have something to eat. Sa a prayer for Dusty and I'll check in later!!!!! [/quote] Platz - that's great news!!! So glad to hear and wishing continued "Get Well" thoughts for Dusty

Here is another post deleted: Was on the Anyone selling thread: Quote:balloonsanddogs Thu 06/7/07 5:44 pm Poof, gone. She will be one of those who has to pay that final bill!! Isn't anyone who is not having sales sick of hearing "I am sure it will pick up by next x-mas..." Didn't everyone say that LAST summer!! Well, lets see how much more Karma I can loose today. Already down 2. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Platzki, I am so happy to read the news about Dusty!!!
I haven't been online much lately, but I try to keep up with this thread. I was sitting here crying about Dusty and praying I would see good news with the latest posts!!!! It's so hard when our fur-babies are sick. Before I married Ed 6 years ago, I hadn't had a pet since I was a teenager. He had 2 cats, Buddy and Junior, who quickly took over the house and my heart. Buddy got cancer while I was pregnant with my son Charlie and I hand-fed him tuna fish and turkey, anything he would eat. When he couldn't lift his head anymore, we knew we had to let him go. Then 2 years later I was pregnant with my daughter Jodi and Junior got sick and we had to let him go, too. Ed was balling his eyes out when we took them, me, too, but Ed hardly ever shows emotion. Now we have Molly, our 6-year-old long-haired mini doxie, and she is definitely just like one of my kids. I've even been fretting over the dog food recall lately. I wanted to change her food because with this recall, I've been reading a lot, and I want to give her something better, but I'm scared to change it now. Everything was quiet for a couple of weeks and I thought I would try something new, but now a lab in Houston has found acetaminophin (spelling?), yep, Tylenol, in dog food! They won't tell which brand(s) are involved. They notified the company a month ago, which was supposed to notify the FDA and never did. And they were foods not already on the recall list. This is way too scary! Now that the FDA is finally involved, who knows how many more foods and animals will be affected?! Sorry I got off on a tangent, but I'm really glad to hear about Buddy! Take care, Platz! Rebecca

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
And I can't believe WP is still open! I really expected it to be gone by now. Sounds like more and more sellers are getting tired of waiting for the buyers to come. I don't know how anyone could wait until Christmas when last Christmas was such a dud. WP had their chance when they had 900 plus sellers. That they didn't take advantage of the numbers and really push advertising speaks volumes. I guess I should be glad I got out when I did. It just burns my buttons that Ray is sitting back and collecting money for nothing, just preying on the hopes and dreams of hard-working sellers.
Grrrrrr. Rebecca

The conversation continues on WP: Quote:xxxxxxxxx 07 Jun 2007 18:20 Quote:wagglepopCC1 07 Jun 2007 18:27 Hey Karay, then explain why you also delete posts properly placed in the Farewell thread. Like the one you deleted today from someone who just sold at auction and didn't have a store. Two-faced boinkard!! Quote:xxxxxxxxx 07 Jun 2007 18:33 Well I don't! For the reason stated above. Quote:xxxxxxxxxxxxx 07 Jun 2007 18:34 And that was from one of WP's most salwart, kind-hearted and generous poppers. Quote:xxxxxxxxxxxxx 07 Jun 2007 18:36 You go girl! A valid point. Quote:wagglepopCC1 07 Jun 2007 18:39 KaRay, your justification is starting to wear quite thin. They aren't going to listen much longer...
