Buy wine. It comes in boxes now with a spigot. It's a big pretty white box with a red flower and it looks like a big Tylenol!!  I just stick that thing in my fridge, turn on the spigot and lay on the floor with my mouth open. Easy, convenient and I don't have any glasses to wash later! {{{hic}}}
Well a quick update, she looked beautiful last night. :'( She told me she had a lot of fun and was dancing with her friends all night. Sam, the one who cancelled on her walked up to her while she was dancing with another boy and said, "I guess I have been replaced already". Then he proceeded to sit in the corner sucking the helium out of balloons all night....lol She won 2 awards~ Class Clown and Most Friendly. She came home smiling from ear to ear. Well I am glad that drama is over with. So I see that Ray has unleashed another alter ego, Andrew is the "bad guy", Karen is the helpful, sweet customer rep., I wonder what personality "Christine" is going to have. Ray your not fooling anyone, what a joke!  :asshat2:
FABULOUS!!! I'm so glad she had a good time!! Sucking helium? Typical 13 year old behavior. (Do they have any left? LOL I love doing that too!!! Shhhh...) Like I said in my post yesterday, the best revenge is to just go and have fun!! It obviously bothered him that she was dancing with another boy, so good for her!! I'm sure she looked gorgeous!! Give her a big hug from her Auntie Platz!!! Edit: Forgot to tell you, I told my son and he said he would have taken her if we lived closer to each other. That would have been a hoot! |

Yes, and I have purchased from the soap lady at her website. WP did lose a wonderful seller, but with her customer service and the quality of her products, she should have no problems making sales. To those of you who have made the change, many are doing better on other sites or with your own website. Has anyone who left and still chooses to sell online have any regrets? Just wondering.
I regret going to WP in the first place. I was having great sales on eBay but got mad at the fee increase and jumped the gun. I don't sell many $1 items so I still turn a profit when I sell on ebay. One thing that really bothers me about wp is that the sellers who keep staying are putting their own businesses basically on hold. If someone is making sales there, its because of their own marketing on probably a unique item. It's not because wp is helping them in any way. To reiterate... if they are making sales, they should open their own site and double list. Then slowly start deleting inventory from their wp location as word of their new store spreads. They can offer discounts and coupons on their new store to keep people purchasing from there. The seller then avoids listing fees and FVF's. Beads by Brenda is my fave store at wp. She has beautiful items and I want to buy something but I refuse to do it thru WP. She is the perfect example of someone who should do what I just mentioned. That email from "Andrew" should prove that wp is out to help nobody but wp. When you aren't allowed to have an opinion, that should be telling you that it's time to move on. Quote:Quote I don't know who posted that, but they're starting to catch on... |

Good morning!
Store count = 220. Sherrand, I don't know how you keep with all these, but thanks for your efforts! I wonder what the "magic number" of stores is, at which WP will shut down for good. 99? 199? |

Brat - I'm so glad your daughter had a great time! Good for her!
Apparently negative feedback can be removed by WP if you're a good little girl/boy and whine enough. I noticed a few weeks ago one of the "first page" sellers had a neg for shoddy merchandise that had been returned but no refund given. The neg was given by another WP seller that was a huge cheerleader at one time. The feedback has gone *poof*. Anyone else noticed this happening? I know they'll delete feedback from brand new users, but this wasn't a new user "stirring up the pot". What garbage. If I was a buyer, I would have wanted to see that feedback. Instead, WP has decided what kind of reputation the seller should have.

Platz, your humour has been fully restored and you're running on full once again! Eclectica, I saw that feedback too but I didn't realize it was gone until you pointed it out. Guess Dizzy complained to papa KaRay. And the little fairy isn't around any longer to protest the removal of what was probably an honest comment. Makes the whole process one big joke. Instead, WP has decided what kind of reputation the seller should have.
On a planet far far away in another galaxy know as Pooperville, there was a negative feedback given to a WP Store and the great and powerful Raybil heard the whining and as you know there cannot be whining in Poopland, so with one mighty swoop and a tap on the delete key that damned negative went away!! Almost all the Poopers cheered because in the Bayworld that would never happen. A tiny little voice rose up out of pooperville and said: "Don't you think that it is wrong to have negative feedback removed just because someone whined? How will Raybil know if it is deserved or not?" All the Poopers in Pooperville threw stones at the little Pooper and shunned the pooper for not agreeing that whining to Raybil was the only way to keep a good reputation without actually providing good customer service. The little pooper rose up and said, "I am a customer of Raybil and I want my NEGATIVE FEEDBACK TO BE HEARD!!!" and with one mighty swoop of the finger the little pooper was deleted off the face of Pooperville..... Moral of the story: When you poop keep it positive or you will get poop on your finger. ......
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom Use it well |
