My My My you all have been extremely busy today. It has taken me quite a while to get caught up. And every time I think I'm caught up, there are more replies!
Looks like this may be the beginning of the end. It's times like this that makes me wish I still had access to Popland, so I could watch the implosion (or would that be explosion) first hand. At least I have my TT buddies to keep me posted on what is happening. I'm off to freshen up my adult beverage and go check out PSU. :popcorneaters:

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hi everyone wow there has been so much reading to do on here today. Now I finally have time to sit and post. Let's see where to begin?
First of all let me say Shelley Second of Brat I'm very glad to hear your daughter went to the dance and had a great time. I have 2 daughters that I've been through the teenage years with so I know just what your going through. Now on to WP. Sherrand I think your right we are seeing a meltdown. So much has happened just recently on WP with some of the long time very dedicated sellers leaving and the # of post that are being deleted there. There is a lot of unrest and of course Ray made the worse possible moves he could make during all this. Sending out unprofessional emails deleting many of the community boards with no announcement being made as to why. I would think this would make many more poppers question what's going on there.
"T" has shown up on PSU. Signed up today to respond to Pixie. Here's his post: Quote:ok, WP members know or at least SOME what's happened and others don't. Patty not only was questioning the rules and blatantly disregarding them in open forum instead of emailing WP, but she personally attacked ME in the forum when a NEW user tried to buy items from me, tried to send a cc thru paypal that I don't accept then refused to pay with a money order or any other form because I didn't take a cc. Then Patty, without asking why this NEW user was banned, blamed me openly making it seem like I was uncaring about other members or cared that this new person was gone. Patty posted inflaming comments against me on the boards for no reason, and sent THIS email to me thru WP's messaging system. I want the truth be known, and I am tired of defending myself against ppl who do not know the entire truth. I did not have ANYTHING to do with why Patty was removed, and I'm sure that Andrews email partially was referring to her comments against me. Hey Tim, since you are lurking here I have a few words for you. Due to your limited attention span and personal focus you probably can't digest them all in one sitting so I'll start gently with: GROW UP!
All I can say to this is Tim every popper should be questioning WP they should be asking why WP sent this unbusiness like email with a kind of threatening tone (the part where it says Andrew won't be as tolerant) to a seller regardless of the circumstance. This is not the first time WP has sent emails of this nature to sellers. What kind of business sends an email like that :blinkie: What type of business practice WP has will reflect on every seller there so yes the sellers should be able to question them openly on the boards. I know in your post your talking about this seller questioning why WP banned a buyer. As a seller I would want to know the answer to that also.

I couldn't help it - I had to respond at PSU... he makes no sense still in why a potential customer was banned - just because she didn't want to send him cash (same as money order) doesn't mean she wouldn't have shopped in other stores on WP. And he says himself that he's not a business so doesn't have to uphold business practices - so all in all, I see it as WP banned a customer because she didn't want to do business with a non-business entity.
Seems to me that they banned the wrong person !!
:ditto: |
