My My My you all have been extremely busy today. It has taken me quite a while to get caught up. And every time I think I'm caught up, there are more replies!

Looks like this may be the beginning of the end. It's times like this that makes me wish I still had access to Popland, so I could watch the implosion (or would that be explosion) first hand. At least I have my TT buddies to keep me posted on what is happening.

I'm off to freshen up my adult beverage and go check out PSU.

Hi everyone wow there has been so much reading to do on here today.  Now I finally have time to sit and post. Let's see where to begin?

Second of Brat I'm very glad to hear your daughter went to the dance and had a great time.  I have 2 daughters that I've been through the teenage years with so I know just what your going through.

Now on to WP.  Sherrand I think your right we are seeing a meltdown.  So much has happened just recently on WP with some of the long time very dedicated sellers leaving and the # of post that are being deleted there.  There is a lot of unrest and of course Ray    made the worse possible moves he could make during all this.  Sending out unprofessional emails deleting many of the community boards with no announcement being made as to why.    I would think this would make many more poppers question what's going on there.

ok, WP members know or at least SOME what's happened and others don't. When she said she didn't want to send a money order, even though she was wrong that should have just been the end of it. The fact that she was terminated is abolutely amazing!
You may not care about one person, but what about all the other BUSINESS OWNERS that have stores here at WP? Ones who do not subscribe to YOUR idea of customer service, and accept all forms of payments that normal business' do. Do you think it is fair and ok that someone will never be coming back to WP to browse other stores??
You are free to run your business as you choose. But, the last thing WP needs is to have potential buyers never coming back.
Sorry, but a member being deleted and not allowed to shop on WP impacts every store owner here!!
If we started getting more sellers subscribing to your ideals of customer service, I would be the first in line to close my store.

IF she had bothered to check first or ask questions instead of assuming I was responsible, she might still be on WP. She also, uses the name Karma on TulipTools and has been posting all the messages from posts she has a problem with and has been bashing Andrew and Karen and ME for no good reason. I have done nothing wrong, and this is the only time I will say it. The proof is in the pudding so don't believe everything you hear, there is ALWAYS more to the story! For the record I sell my own personal items that I have collected over the years and do not have to claim taxes on that as I do not charge taxes on it, until I operate as a business. When I decide to do that I will take cc thru pp probably. I use a personal account on PP as I am selling my personal items, that is why I don't do the tax thing at this time. This is no different then if I was selling my items at a garage sale at collectible prices. I buy more for myself than I ever sell and if I decide to sell some of my collections to expand on others and put that money back into my collections I'm keeping, that is completely legal. If I was charging taxes and not filing taxes on it, that would not be. I deal in facts, not conjecture, or rumors, and anyone that believes the lies being told or hearing only the partial truth should inquire the whole truth before passing judgement. A wWP member should NEVER be talking against and speaking out against WP and it's members when they are pretending to be all for it and WITH the rest of them while they wree still selling there.

All I can say to this is Tim every popper should be questioning WP they should be asking why WP sent this unbusiness like email with a kind of threatening tone (the part where it says Andrew won't be as tolerant) to a seller regardless of the circumstance.  This is not the first time WP has sent emails of this nature to sellers.   What kind of business sends an email like that  :blinkie:    What type of business practice WP has will reflect on every seller there so yes the sellers should be able to question them openly on the boards.  I know in your post your talking about this seller questioning why WP banned a buyer.  As a seller I would want to know the answer to that also.
