Good Morning All! You guys have been busy....thanks to all those who welcomed me! Hey Rebecca, I didn't realize you weren't on WP anymore. Things have been changing so fast. It seems the censorship on WP is becoming reminiscent of Nazi tactics - zero tolerance, my ass! Don't you just love it when a site owner starts treating grown adult business owners like little children?! No discussion of real issues allowed - only sweetness & light! I'm all for positive thinking, but isn't this a bit over the top? Meows - sorry to hear your husband hasn't been well. Give him my best for a quick recovery! Welcome MS Peep! Can someone tell me how this karma works - we give it to each other? -Shelley  :turkey2:
Hey Shel... just think of Karma as love. You can't spend it but the more you get and give, the better you feel. The credits you earn can be spent. You earn credits simply by posting. You can use it to buy ad space here on TT in the mall and such. Remember TT is not just this thread. There's tons of info here, web hosting (my site is hosted thru them) and domain names, selling ideas, etc. Take some time when you can and look around the site. Enjoy!!! |

WP store count = 217
Showcase stores = 6 (what is that new person to showcase nuts?) Featured = 18 With the amount of delisting going on for someone to upgrade to showcase has to be nuts. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Good morning everyone boy I missed a lot this morning I was up way too late last night.
mspeep it's so nice to see you here. There is life after WP there are other sites that sellers are making sales on and some of them are free. I think you could do well on other sites too I would have been a customer of yours already but my daughters keep having boys lol. If your unsure about anything you'll find there are many here who are very helpful. Well if this latest news from WP doesn't make the sellers run as fast as they can to the door than I don't know what will. Basically what AndRay is telling them is you still pay your fees and we are going to do even less. They are cutting back on CC and it looks to me like the newsletter and sales reports are history (how convenient for Ray) and marketing forget about it. Also you as sellers will be allowed to say even less than before. I don't think there is any way that the poppers can put a positive spin on this one. |

I am in a state of shock about the whole Karen leaving post. What a friggin' joke. I guess it's supposed to be like good cop/bad cop. What... is Andrew supposed to be scary or something?
Ray... you are a ridiculous man. |

A new topic started: What brought you here? and... some comments about negativity Quote:10 Jun 2007 15:57Â Â Â Âand I cannot even imagine what they must have to do to manage an auction website. My hats are off to them. I respect them and am willing to give WP a try without putting the entire burden of "generating traffic" on their shoulders. It's all about the people... the owners of the site and the other sellers. I hope to get the opportunity to purchase from a good many other sellers and really look forward to getting to know what each one specializes in that makes them and their stores so special and unique. I like purchasing from a seller who is obviously passionate about their wares, which I see a great deal of (passion) here at Wagglepop. This question may have been asked before (forgive me I'm a newbie): Was there a particular reason that you chose to open a Wagglepop store? ~Patti~
Bolding mine... 'nuff said on that... Does this person really expect responses on this thread to answer their questions. PS and Tim will probably be the only ones to do so... |

It seems all surreal until you know someone going through it. And all just for asking legitimate business questions. Definitely over the top. There's positive thinking and then there's WP. Bizarre beyond belief.
