Sherrand, do you happen to know?
Yes I do. 128. Some of these stores are multiples run by the same owner. And a few qualify as ghost stores even though they are active. These stores are all burdened with the floundering member icon.
Oops... I am totally dopey today!! I quoted Sherrand in my last post and then forgot to ask her something!!! LOL I was wondering if anyone remembered Mo... and if so, any idea where she is? Is she still at WP? |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I really think/hope that this months round of store closings will be quite hefty. I think the ones that our left sell as a hobby and must not need to make income off their wares or they are just staying because of the false sense of family amongst the members. I think after the announcement of Karen departing and Andrew's bad cop routine, the feeling of belonging to an on-line "family" will be gone and thus many hard core poppers. Anyone who stays after all that nonsense must be beyond the realm of help. Its really very sad.

Thanks, Sherrand. I guess I shouldn't be shocked that over half of the stores that are left are old-timers. New ones come in, get the message, and slam the doors. It was sooooooo different a mere year ago - hard to believe. :o
If you had asked me this question 2 weeks ago the answer would have included 18 more stores. You are so right Fine that many of the newer ones don't stick around long. But lately a serious number of the older ones have been packing up too.

Well now, isn't this so special and judgmental. PS gets to be judge and jury about where another popper is to list stuff?
Quote:xxxxxxxx 13 Jun 2007 23:02 Might be best to keep your opinion to yourself PS, unless you are starting to steer the poppers away from poopland. Not that this seller will sell any of their Joe Camel wares on WP anyways. |

Did anyone notice someone changed their vote from infiltrators to Ray?
