That's the kicker, isn't it? Thinking he knows all & having no interest in listening to anyone else. I'm not saying management's every move should be dictated by it's members, but when you've got intelligent people telling you the same thing over & over again, a smart person learns to listen, otherwise those same mistakes are going to kick you in the ass time and time again! :turkey2:
I had a boss once say to me... "The best way to run a business is to only hire people who are smarter than you, and listen to them." THAT just about says it all....
Exactly! ...and this coming from an ex-stubborn, know-it-all (me) who finally figured out that there's very little I know for sure anymore!! I worked for a guy once who was another perfect example. I only worked for him a couple hours in the morning, and then moved on to my regular job, so we got along pretty good, but it was well known that he was a pretty difficult guy. He went through office staff faster than most people change their underwear, and he could never understand why he couldn't get & keep any good help. His friends, myself included, would tell him, "well maybe it's you, maybe you're the problem?", but he just didn't see that at all! The last time I saw him he was still busy running off "lousy" office help! Sounds kind of familiar! LOL! :turkey1: |

OT.
Just wanted to let everyone know that Dusty got sick again. He's been throwing up everything for two whole days. The vet said that he didn't feel he would get better no matter what we did. We had to put him down tonight. Please say a little prayer for him, OK? Talk to you all later. |

Biggest and warmest hugs... and a towel (so much easier than using tissue). |

Platzki,
I am so sorry to hear that you had to make that decision. I was praying that he would recover. It is so hard to lose a pet. My thoughts are with your family. Hugs. |
