Oops... I've been meaning to welcome lurkist to the group!! Forgive me!! [/quote] Platzki, I think you had a reason for the delay didn't you loose your litte companion Dusty? I read that and felt the pain. I lost my little Holly suddenly a few years ago and it took me 2 weeks to get over crying every day and trying to fill her dog dish etc. I still miss her a great deal but the sorrow turned in to joy and laughter as now when the kids come and we have family gatherings, someone always mentions her and we talk about the things she did and she still somehow manages to make us laugh. Anyway, thank you for the welcome and very sorry about your Dusty.

I keep expecting him to come around the corner and give me his "Mommy, can I have a treat?" look... I really miss him a lot. He was so sick... the doctor thinks that the fatty lump on his shoulder became a mass cell tumor that invaded his entire body within a matter of two weeks. He said it happens very rapidly. Thank you for your kind words. They mean a lot. Sorry about your Holly too... it's very hard to lose them. They are a huge part of the family... |
