Ok, I may have missed this somewhere. Could someone explain who Vas is? Are they a seller? (no banner on their posts). Or a cheerleader with a lot of time to waste? : Edited to add: Why do none of the Poppers question the presence on the boards?
Vas is a seller who has been at WP2 since day one. When I joined, we became fast friends and always posted amd pm'ed each other... she was actually pretty cool. I have no idea what she's up to now because I am banned from WP. Just wanted to give you some background. From what I've read here tho... I guess she's still cheering.
Hi Platzki yes Vas was there from day one. I posted about this a few pages back she disappeared for a long time though and did not post. I thought she closed her store and was surprised to see it still there and had wondered why she no longer posted. All of a sudden she is back to posting and trying to motivate the sellers. I find it odd. I also noticed two other sellers who posted along with Vas at the start and then stopped posting all of a sudden posted along with Vas the other day. Nancy sorry to hear about your Mom. I went through this same thing with my Mom a couple of years back. She did go through the chemo it was not easy and we thought we were going to lose her a couple of times but she made it through and is doing well now. I really hope everything turns out ok for your Mom too. Take care. |

Store name is The-Fox-Hole.
You're correct, Patty. The other seller ID is verve, she has a store template store under the store name of verve-auction-styles.
Nancy, I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Platz, you too, about Dusty. I've been dealing with a death and still my father, and when I hear about these things from others, my mind goes blank.. I just don't know what to say because it all sounds so hollow to me. ::: snip :::
Nancy, Platz, Prin ... I would like to share this with y'all. This poem has always brought me much comfort. Sorrow's Bane Love is the one thing That keeps our spirits whole When Sorrow comes a knocking With hurts that touch our soul When our world falls around us Darkness fills our dreams Its love that lifts our spirits Bridging Sorrow's streams Love calls us from the brink Of being swallowed by the stream Dispels depression And warms us in its gleam Love helps us through the horror Of love lost or led astray Through mans trespass Or angels spirit them away Love comes to give us comfort And wipe away the tears Love will shield our spirits When Sorrow's shadow nears Loves light whisper Will stifle Sorrow's gain In lifes losses Love is Sorrows bane Author - Ed Schmidt Huggles to all! Suse
Meows what a beautiful poem |

My apologies to Vas, who apparently is female. I wasn't there from day one, but don't remember this poster at all and I joined WP in the middle of July. Can anyone explain her sudden Koolaid-laced Adrenalin rush? Did Karen pass the pink slipper torch onto her? Something definitely wrong with this picture.
Edit: Oh, and thanks Karma Grems. I appreciate your generosity. Wanna try for an encore? <---------------- CLICK HERE |

The way I understand that it works is, if you do not pay your invoice, listings or not your store will close around the 19th of the month. It's that simple. Now, if you could redirect all that energy from these boards and into the garden I'll bet you will probably have the most beautiful flower bed in your yard. See how pretty my flowers grew since I left and went elsewhere. That was before Karen left. |

See how pretty my flowers grew since I left and went elsewhere. That was before Karen left.
She sounds like our dear X-Patriot Pooper, Scott Bulger. On one of my WP posts I stated that I joined WP to further my BUSINESS and MAKE MONEY (perish the thought), not sit around the campfire, hold hands with my fellow Poppers and sing Kumbaya. He took my Kumbaya reference and began using it as his signature sign-off and even created a WP store with that name. Full of self-glorification, he basked in the praises of cheerleaders who showered him with Koolaid-soaked leis for turning my "sarcastic" comment into a "positive" one. Mr. S.B. has since blown the popstand without fanfare. Just simply faded off the radar. I don't think any of the current cheerleading Poops even noticed his absence. Current Poopers seem way more apathetic than they did a year ago. The lack of enthusiasm is underwhelming. For the most part, it appears Vas's efforts to rally the gladiators to battle has been about as effective as a fart in a wind tunnel. Shall we start a pool on how many stores will be left by July 1? Edit: FYI, on one post Mr. S.B. publically proclaimed his loyalty to WP and swore he would be the last one left to turn the lights out. Maybe he should reverse his initials. |
