His items are too expensive for boardie pity 'pump-up-the-hope' purchases.
Sooo, true...and it happens ALL the time.....
The thing with these type of purchases... I KNOW I will go through a boardie friend who sells what I want or need before anywhere else - I fully believe in supporting each other that way. But! I also know that no one should be expected to believe you can earn a living - or even support a hobby - with purchases made by boardie friends and at WP it's like a boardie will buy from you to show you sales are possible... and then you wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and you know, wait some more for the next sale! I started to pay attention to my sales there and when they would happen. If I posted something positive on the WP boards - amazingly enough, shortly thereafter, I'd have a nice sale. If I was quiet on the boards, no sales. If I just said something on the boards neither positive or negative, no sales. But, each and every time I posted something positive, I was rewarded with a sale. Good way to brainwash sellers if you ask me. You learn quickly over there positive (even if lies) equals a reward of a sale. Anything else and you got nothing. ETA: Anyone else think 'Pavlov's Dog Theory'? |

Awwwww ... the biggest "cheerleader" won't be participating in the Un-Contest:

I thought by now the store number would be a LOT less by now. Keep up the good work Ray, those ghost stores will pay off eventually... Good Morning my TT peeps ~Patti~ |

So they have enough time to ridicule poppers for not being a "founding member", post on the boards - but they can't be bothered with the contest.
I think this is so sad - this guy, although I think a tad naive, just seems so sweet and didn't deserve that treatment... then again, with working on his own website instead of relying on a fraudulent auction site, hopefully he will get everything he deserves!
195 Stores Found ... I thought by now the store number would be a LOT less by now. Keep up the good work Ray, those ghost stores will pay off eventually...
I agree... though there was one early morning recently where the store count seemed to shoot up right before the deleting started to happen... so I think someone's been busy creating store names! Wonder how low the REAL count will go before he just calls it quits and takes the money and runs? Pumping up karma on the page |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hello everyone....
I haven't had time to read any posts since I last posted as I have lost my internet connection. I am coming here in hopes that someone might be able to help me, as I know many of you have much more computer knowledge than I do. Since last week we have been trying to get online from our home computer and haven't been able to (I'm at the library now.) Our ISP is Juno (was recommended by a relative when we didn't know anything at all about the internet)....when we try to connect or check emails, we are able to dial up, but as soon as we make a connection we are disconnected and an error message pops up. We have tried using our other computer and the same thing happens, so we know it is not our computer or modem. Unfortunately Juno's tech support is $1.95 per minute! Do any of you happen to know what might be wrong and what we can do to fix this? We are also looking at switching to another ISP. Any recommendations? Any in particular to avoid? Would prefer one that doesn't charge for telephone tech support if that is available? What is the cost of any that you recommend (we need dial up service)? Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give. I'll check back in a couple of days when I can get back to the library again. OnAJourney Nikki =) (It's making me crazy not being able to work on my stores! Can only use a library computer for a 1/2 hour and that sure goes fast! Gotta go, my time is up already.) |
