Man, I have never been on such boring boards as they have over there now....... Aren't any of those oldies TIRED of the same nothing over and over and over and over... WP has been open for OVER A YEAR NOW!!! When are you going to realize you should be at least getting some traffic for your $9.95 a month?? Geez, go get your own website for less than that a month!! If you don't want your own, there are plenty of sites who at least want theirs to succeed, go support them! Hell, WP didn't even put on an Anniversary Banner!! At least PH has one celebrating their 2nd Anniversary!! When was the last time Customer Service was on? What are your sales reports looking like? How about your overall site activity? When did you ever get a thank you from WP for all the work you do? For all of you that have been there so long, doesn't it bother you that there is no more "we the people"? You get no interaction from CS anymore. From what I have seen, you don't even get an answer to your emails half the time. Such a shame. Go ahead, stay in your abusive relationship if it makes you feel comfortable. But there are plenty of other places you can go to feel comfortable! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Just a Sheer Frustration Rant
Craig and I have been trying to "move" (from old house to new house, though new isn't constructed yet on our same piece of property that we currently live on) since May 7. Just one dAmn thAng after another: he went into the hospital with double pneumonia, not once but twice and already suffers from CHF; rain; he had two surgeries one week apart from another; rain, a humongus clusterf**k at the mortgage company finally straightened out; rain; custom house plans lost and had to be redrawn; rain; PODS had problems bringing the PODS unit onto our property; rain; had to purchase and wait on the moving boxes since no store in our area saves boxes any more; rain; tried to move boxes that we finally packed; even MORE frazzling rain. Finally we start running low on the first order of boxes (can't move around in this house for packed boxes and cats who know something is up and are absolutely panicked every time we move a single muscle - most cats will go apesh!t with any changes in their daily routine. Place another order this past Tuesday with PODS. Ok, so it may be Friday before we get the new order due to the 4th holiday. "No prob," sez I, "it's been a runner-up here for the second flooding of the earth. We're actually thinking about throwing oars into the PODS in case this rain keeps up." We can't even move the packed boxes from the old house into the PODS for the deluge and fear that we may drown between the 15 feet from our house to the PODS. Thursday evening at 5:15 I went outside to smoke and have a beer. Hell, why not? Down to the very last box and can't move the dang packed ones to the PODS. Can't watch TV because of no signal. Can't get on the internet because just last month I lost a motherboard and ethernet card due to not being Ms. Speedy Gonzales in shutting down quickly enough during a sudden thunderstorm. After I smoked and drank my beer, I traipsed outside in the pouring rain to feed our feral cat colony and the 4 rescue German/Aussie Shepherd mix dogs. Dried down, grabbed a book and read until midnight. In the meantime, it's continuously pouring. Craig (who has been staying at my mother's in Shreveport because there's just too much of a mess here, plus he needs lots of bedrest to recover from the pleural effision and both surgeries AND to recoup daily from toting heavy boxes and furniture) drove over early yesterday morning during the continuous downpour. Sez he when he called before leaving Mama's, "If I get over there early enough, I can grab the packing boxes from UPS before they get wet." Good idea, right? So during at least the 42nd friggen monsoon of July, he backed into the driveway, jumped out to open the gate. "What in hell is this??" he thinks. He shoved it aside and backed up to the covered patio and stormed inside so angry that I was thinking he was going to have another heart attack, or at the very least, a stroke. It takes a lot to make my Craig angry enough to curse like a sailor. Usually he's telling me to take a deep breath and calm down. Man oh man, he was cussing a blue streak and shouting at the top of his lungs. Why doesn't customer service anywhere do their job? He said that the damn packing boxes had been delivered by UPS and were soaked through and through! I jump on the horn to UPS. The a$$hole rep says that it's not their problem, it's ours because PODS put a note on the label to leave the products if no one was at home and to deliver without a signature. Now I'm the one screeching at the top of my voice. "Absolutely unacceptable," sez I, "What morons do you hire that will leave a package at the gate in an ongoing thunderstorm? It's been pouring here for hours and hours." Then he says, "Well, they weren't delivered today. They were delivered at 6:10 pm yesterday." DUH. Oh but wait, he wasn't through. He said that the driver actually left the box at the gate because we have dogs. :::thudding to floor::: I asked why the driver didn't toot his horn or take the package back to the terminal, call us and tell us we have to pick the package up. Yep, you guessed it - "Because the shipping label from PODS said to leave it without a signature." Oh man, I flew into another tangent telling them that it's been raining for WEEKS DAILY in Louisiana. I also let them know I was hanging up immediately and calling PODS, who promptly told me UPS is responsible since PODS ships exclusively UPS. Within the hour UPS called me back telling me that they would ship at their cost another container of shipping boxes, including shipping expenses. The bottom line is to pursue your rights with ANY company, including slip-slod auction sites. Don't let anyone tell you that it's your responsibility for half-a$$ed dealings. Boy, do I feel better now that this crap is off my chest.
Store count 190 ::: snip ::: WP has been open for OVER A YEAR NOW!!! ::: snip :::
Oh sheeeesh, UPS must be taking lessons from Ray-tard ...

Hey JoJo,
Right on cue. Here's your ghost store. This one just activated. It wasn't a store a month ago. Note the registration date. http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/intimates And another "new" one is waiting in the wings. http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/HEALTHNBEAUTYPRO That makes 13 previously registered members, who had stores (or not) that have cropped up in the last few weeks. Must be something in the air...
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Store Update:
Endless Treasure Closet - 640 items de-listed, empty but not closed. THE BEST FROM ME TO YOU - 495 items de-listed, empty but not closed. This seller must be a wee bit teed off. She removed all traces of her existence on WP. Her store custom pages, header, logo - the works. The Littlest Stitch Boutique - 12 items, empty but not closed. Registered Jun 30/07. I sense a couple of more stores seeking page 8 and the leap beyond. May I propose a poll: KaRay/AndRay/IxNay will pack it in when: A The store count drops to 150 B The store count drops to 100 C The store count drops to 50 D He can no longer meet his car payments E All of the above (hey, every multiple choice I've done has that option)

He will squeeze every last $9.95 out of the sellers that he can; no point in closing up if anyone is still willing to pay, and his hosting (or whatever) fees are covered. (Edit for clarity!) |

Quote:May I propose a poll: KaRay/AndRay/IxNay will pack it in when: None of the above. I'm still holding out hope for 3150 stores and 1.5 million listings by January. :twistedevil:
