Quote:I am near completion of my internal analysis of Wagglepop and our current and future direction based on my first 30 full days since our loss of Karen Morrow in Customer Care and my taking the lead in both CC and in general taking the lead in both CC and in general Read this very slowly and it sounds to me that Andy is taken over the sinking ship. Nothing is mentioned of Romeo at all. "Taking the lead in general" sounds like he is the new leader. What do you all think?
Andrew is Ray's imaginary friend. There IS NO Andrew. Ray Romeo is still in charge and always will be. He just lets different personalities come out and play when it's convenient.
Bolding mine. There is no disputing the bolded statement above. There never was a Karen or a Christine and most of all there is NO Andrew. There is only Ray Romeo. He is the one man show. How many people continue to play into Ray's hand by even mentioning the multiple personalities such as Andrew. It's just Ray people and nobody else. He doesn't commute to work or anything. WP is a one man operation out of Ray's basement, nothing more, nothing less. Quote:I still maintain Ray drove his Cougar to Baja, where he bought himself a seaside condo and is right now sipping a 50-cent margarita and running WP from his laptop. Anybody have any evidence to the contrary? Yes DB I do have evidence to the contrary. I was the first to report of the purchase of the cougar right here on TT. I also mentioned a sighting of the said cougar in a certain boinktards driveway sometime last month. I can assure you that the said cougar still remains in that boinktards driveway today as the boinktard himself sits there sipping a 50-cent margarita's while he collects the store fees every month after month after month. Ask yourself this question. Would you give up a cash cow such as WP if you could make people believe you are someone else in the 4th or 5th person? Truth |

Truth, I never suggested he would give up his cash cow, but you can live mighty fine on $2000/mo in Baja -- like a king, in fact. Have the money sent directly from his PayPal account where the devoit are feeding it like clockwork. But no matter where he is, his $2000/mo is gravy. He does NOTHING WHATSOEVER to earn it except do what he can to protect his cash cow, like sequestering his minions, deleting IDs at will, trashing features/posts/forums, lurking TT to get the scoop on his own site (hell, Ray should be paying US). And followers are FOOLS!!!!!!!! It's like renting a space in a strip mall. The landlord couldn't give a wombat poo poo how you get your money or whether you sell a stick of bubble gum as long as you pay the rent, and if you don't, you get evicted. Except in the case of WP, the landlord is tapping your phone lines, has drilled holes in the wall to spy on you, is telling you what music to play in your store, what forms of payment you can or cannot take, tampering with your mail, requiring visitors to verify themselves before entering your store, monitoring your visitors and arresting them at will, forbidding bad language, but uses it freely himself, and threatens to excommunicate you if you ask what he's doing about the rats in the bathroom. And, after he kicks you out, he will send another invoice for another month's rent and threaten collection if you don't pay. The Raylord also confiscates all newspapers and forbids his tenants to have any information other than what he feeds them, lest they discover his sorted past, fraught with failure, and make contact with x-tenants who were taken to the cleaners. Of course, it's his tenants' faults if nobody wants to shop at that mall under those conditions. At least mall owners advertise to get business. WP doesn't even do that. |

The response to AndRay's annoucement of the forthcoming "analysis" has been underwhelming. Only 4 brief replies.
Quote:REPLY BY XXX 19 Jul 2007 15:08And what characteristics exactly, Allison, are they that some on-line sellers DON'T have. A penchant for Koolaid, perhaps? Quote:REPLY BY XXX 19 Jul 2007 22:02 Hey, what happened to all the "WE ARE SO EXCITED. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING FUN AND WONDERFUL HERE. We can't wait to hear about the new features, the great surprises, the grand things to come" posts? Remember those, TT-ers, about a year ago? |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:I had no idea that so many online sellers have (and don't have) certain characteristics. Well let me clear this up for ya. One very important characteristic of an online seller is HAVING A CLUE as in not getting hosed, deceived, lied to, manipulated, and brainwashed and being willing to pay someone money for the privilege Andrew from the land of make-believe supposedly owns a marketing company, has hired the imaginary Karen, and is in charge of WP customer service and marketing. Yet makes a statement that he doesn't have a clue about the online industry. There isn't a marketing company anywhere today who is not trained/educated on ecommerce. The majority of businesses utilize the web in one way or another. Now how could Ray A. Afford to pay Andrew B. Why would Ray hire this guy if he was real when he is obviously an idiot, and blatantly rude. Remember the email to Pixie Soaps? C. What marketing? The guy says he doesn't "get it" but he is looking into it : : : Read Andrew's post again, overlap it with any of Karen's gem's, overlap it again with the golden oldies Ray posted and what do you see? All Ray all the time |
