Quote:the forums at wagglepop is controlled to ALL positives about the site... which is wise....... amazon i don't see any forums AT ALL which may be even more wiser... The poster on BluJay is the infamous DeepRiverMan. Deepie, if you're reading this...Amazon does have very active forums and the viciousness displayed on them makes the eBay forums seem tame in comparison. Amazon forums: http://www.amazonsellercommunity.com/forums/index.jspa
Thanks for sharing the info on the viciousness of their forums. I almost died reading the posts for new sellers. Good thing I listed my books prior to reading their forums or I would have possibly not done it. :blinkie: Glad I did though because sales have been really good
Thats awesome about sales nana girl!!! I signed up as a seller and put one listing on just to test the waters. I had some questions so I went into the New Seller forum... Man... they eat their own kind in there!!! I didn't post but I did manage to find answers to my questions... I'll be getting more listings on this week after the kids go back to school tomorrow (and I have a new box of wine to celebrate that occassion... ) |
something stinks over in the blujay forum, for weeks I have been reading what one poster keeps spewing on about then all of a sudden it turns to wagglepop thread and than the names of the posters seems all too familiar and the chaos that seems to be coming along with it. I can't put my finger on it, maybe those here more familiar with particular posters in other forums may be able to pin point what is really going on there.. here's the link maybe someone here can figure out who is really who? I trust the opinions of those here.. Seems to me like its a way to get publicity for WP! but for the life of me how anyone after everything that has gone on at WP and its owner even selling on ebay again can anyone even think its a contender? http://www.blujaybb.com//index.php?topic=9759.0
And I find it more than a tad bit interesting that the WP store he chooses to link to is none other than.... our friend PS. Edited to add: Oh wait, she jumps in on page 2, lol. I'll just shut up and finish reading now...
I have been busy getting ready for back to school, woo hoo tomorrow!!! I am amazed she (PS) doesn't already sell there. I did get a kick out of the first poster talking about board junkies etc. while his count was showing over 800 posts. |

Quote: To my knowledge, he is not even registered at WP and has never had a store or been a seller. Why he pumps up the site is a mystery greater than the meaning of life. He's never sold on WP and yet he's cheered the site during both WP1 and WP2. He first appeared soon after WP1 was announced on FAS, disappeared after WP1 closed, and then reappeared about the time WP2 reopened. Quote:banned on PSU more than once I think he's been banned from PSU over 10 times by now. ;D |

I just love the timing of the blujay posts. As WP sinks, PS goes trolling to spam other boards (I'm sure Ray is applauding wildly).
Yet, we have open conversations about OUR experiences at the big POOP and we are naysaying miscreant feebay employees with an agenda. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. We don't troll other forums to express our opinions, but she goes everywhere to share her sweetness and light....what a crock.
Is it not hypocritical to claim to have never spoken to or know the Great Ray, praise his accomplishments and applaud his glorious site -- and at the same condemn others for being CRITICAL of someone they "don't even know," a criticism which, by the way, is grounded on personal experience? Ray is the President of the College of Hypocritical Living and PS graduated valedictorian. |

She'd receive the same (negative) reception on any auction site's forum if she tried to promote a competing site.

It usually backfires except for the one poster who says...
Quote from BJ Seller... Quote:Angelsong might be a Popper looking for a new home. She has been on PSU for quite a long time. She's NOT GJ. Give her some room. The following posters did not agree with her... ... they see it as an intrusion. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Ray has a 4.7 item description star rating on eBaY for his magazine ads. What would be his star rating for the description he gave sellers of his auction site?
