Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WOW!!! Frigging deja vu!! Is this September 2006 replaying itself? That's when I got banned for asking when they would advertise... Â
And he's playing the loyalty card again. Once again... his vague comments about change basically says... "We're changing and we're not telling you when, why or how... and if you leave, you're not loyal!!" Any true business person should have left as soon as they announced there would be changes but didn't say what they were. Makes you wonder.... he had a mass exodus once and now he's doing it again. It confirms my theory, AndRay is afraid of success and does everything in his power to destroy himself and take every WP seller with him. edit: cause I can't speel... uh... spell |

seller Wrote:Hey, is anyone else getting a rush of purchases? Some guy is buying postcards faster than I can keep track. And I had to sign in a dozen times to get here to ask -- has WP been hacked?? Would love to be selling all these cards but afraid this is a scam. AndRay Wrote:I just checked with tech and CC, and we have no reports of or logs of any behaviors outside of the User Agreement or of login issues. Hey BOINKTARD, here's a report (given to me by someone else), you have a new seller from China who is using a proxy IP, VoiP phone number, and maildrop address in Los Angeles, to get around your ban on sellers from China. http://www.wagglepop.com/stores/fashion858 -lists fake location as Los Angeles http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=fashionvogue858&ftab=AllFeedback -lists true location as China two identical auctions http://www.wagglepop.com/bin/auction/view?cmd=view&listingID=576410 http://cgi.ebay.com/Chinese-emerald-jade...dZViewItem The items are shipped airmail and EMS from China -that should be a clue as to the seller's true location Raytard The animated welcome banner in the listings is hosted on a server in China http://jiyuge.dns.trtr.cn/hao/a.gif -another clue Raytardo The seller is located in China not LA. WAKE THE BOINK UP RAY, YOU STUPID BOINKTARD! If you weren't such a board junkie who spends all his time on the boards instead of watching the rest of the site you might have caught this. Boinktard! PS This proves WP's phone verification is crap.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
seller discussing problems with finding items using WP's site search Wrote:As a frequent online shopper myself, I try to think from that aspect and what I personally would do if I could not find items in the manner that I normally do. I'd say "there are just not enough items here", and I'd bail out. One Popper's solution to Wagglepop's site search inadequacies: more seller-to-seller sales because sellers will understand how to use WP's (lacking) search function. : Popper Wrote:I can certainly understand that and that is exactly why I believe we need more sellers here. Not for competition ,mind you that is not a bad thing, but sellers are buyers and the sellers know how things work here. They learn the ins and outs. So if we can attract more sellers we have more potential buyers. |

Quote:In many ways, this announcement and all that comes with it marks the start of optimizing what we are rather than what we are not, while at the same time adding what is missing in innovative and effective ways, outside of "auction site" conventions.Translation: No more auctions on WP. From here on in, WP will be basically a fee-based mall store-hosting site. No advertising. No promotion. No features. No customer support. You're on your own. Just pay your "rent" or get kicked out. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Damage control... We already know there are about 100 faithfuls to Wagglepop, about half of the current seller base, that are all committed to the extent of paying anything to keep it alive. Maybe they actually sell stuff there, maybe they don't, but they have a strong 'faith' in the site. It will be downgraded to a flea market mall site with the new fees, because I really doubt new sellers will pay more a month than they pay for an eBay store.
"exceeding the capabilities of eBay at a projected project cost of $225,000 to $340,000." Where did this figure come from? No idiot would try to seriously take on eBay with that budget. And what moron operates any business with a 50% margin of error? The answer... Ray Romeo.
"Listen up Mother****er. Try that bulls*** here and I will hand you and your head in a basket"
- Ray Romeo's alter ego Andrew Pittino responding when I signed up a new account on Wagglepop to verify the non-existence of a way to opt out of his sharing my information with third parties. |

Quote:As we have alluded to and discussed recently, the cost of participation will increase . . . Hey all! Anyone care to guess what the new monthly "participation cost" tithe will be? Whoever guesses closest to the actual figure will get $20 off any item in my Ecrater (designers-bargains.ecrater.com) or eBay stores. |

So noted, Sneak. You're usually very psychic about stuff like this, so I'm betting on you.
Edit: OMG! Drum roll. The auto floormat guy with 19,000+ listings for a year is selling! Three sales to the same WP store owner of car wash mits for 99 cents each. Everybody Waggledance! |
