The PayPal info came up because I mentioned to him that it was too bad they wouldn't allow a second account, and I wouldn't be accepting PayPal for my new biz as a result because I want to keep them totally separate. He then explained to me it was possible, just had to be approved. Who knew?

Maybe Ray will give up his side project "Marketshare" for an hour a day to grace them with Andrew's presence starting tomorrow... Or maybe he's too darn busy shipping all his eBay sales. Give the guy a freakin' break!

Anyone else notice AndRay is only "more active" on the boards during that time of the month ....

He only posts when he's trying to collect his monthly tithe from the less than faithful membership who haven't paid up yet. 

He posts some 'helpful' statistics for the  drinkers or disparaging comments about the less than faithful membership just before he's about to pull the plug on the 20% that don't pay every month.

Unless of course he reads TT over our shoulders - then we should be hearing from him any moment now....

On yet another note, the Poppers have also discovered YouTube and posted a Wagglepop promotional video complete with the requisite copyright infringements that all eBay alternative promo videos contain--for some reason eBay alternatives and their groupies can't seem to grasp the fact that you can not include other people's copyrighted songs in your promotional videos unless you get the artist's permission.

FYI- there's a discussion on the Plunderhere thread that explains why using other artist's songs as backing music in your promotional video is  A. copyright infringement  and B. why a site owner who allows his site to be promoted with a copyright infringing video could also be liable.

That's a tough one because how could you possibly know if someone is promoted your site with copyrighted music.  Now if you KNOW that the infringement is occurring, I would try to stop it.  But it would be hard for someone to prove that you knew about it. 

But..

If you know about somethig that you don't really know about, would you think that others would be able to prove that you knew about it?  And if they could, would they know that you knew if you didn't know they  knew you didn't know?
