Quote:So, for the benefit of those loyal, dues-paying members, we have instituted a minimum 2-month account closure policy. Effective immediately, members who submit a request to have their stores and accounts closed will be given a minimum of two more, dues-paying months' "grace period" before we act on their request. We want to give members plenty of time to consider if their requests for account closure are wise, prudent, thought-out decisions. Should members need more time to consider, we will be happy to extend this grace period at the current monthly dues-paying rate. It is a revolutionary idea, but that's what we're all about. If, at any time during the "grace period" a member's account goes into arrears, the request for account closure will be given priority relative to staffs' summer schedules and the request granted when we see fit do deal with this disloyal, lazy, ungrateful deadbeat upon payment in full of the delinquent account. Unfreakin' believable! There aren't enough names for you, Ray!! [/quote] OMG!! Talk about "buying" time!! I would certainly be pissed off if I asked for my store to be closed only to be told that I have to wait two months because RAY thinks it's a bad business decision... and makes $60 more bucks off of me. Yeah, closing is bad for him and not closing is bad for the seller... OMG... I am just sitting here shaking my head... |

OMG They all sound so pathetic over there. *sigh* They are busy celebrating the new stores hoping that this fresh meat will bring them some sales and boinktard is laughing all the way to the bank.
Something that puzzles me... Why is it that Minute Bear Trading has a showcase store as well as a featured store? |

I saw identical items being sold at tourist centers near Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, TN) -- all made in China and for half the price. |

If WP's stores hub is anything like eBay's then 90% of the visitors to the page are other sellers and you're not getting that much exposure to buyers by paying for a featured or showcase store. Very few buyers will find you via the stores page--the majority of them will find you via WP search or Google/search engines/Google Product Search. |
