Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
BTDT, sorry for disappearing. I've been on vacation all month and we actually went places! Recently home from a trip to Germany and leaving tomorrow for Washington DC. These trips have been the first DH and I have taken together in 10 years. Man were we overdue or what! I'll be back the 2nd week of August to haunt TT again.
Lots I could comment on concerning recent events at WP including a follow-up on the last post I made here. Quick food for thought: it looks like WP is a total bust for Ad Smart and Flagship Banner Advertising. There isn't one single solitary popper participating in either program. They are dead in the water. Can't they see the golden opportunity laid at their doorstep by AndRay and grab it with open arms? Oh ye of little faith. Even the outside advertisers initially enrolled with the flagship program seem to have disappeared. Guess they saw no point in renewing. Could it be because of a lack of traffic and/or income from their exposure on WP? D-day, monthly bloodbath is once again upon us. Wait for it...
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

She's saying that...I'm not. ;D DropShipDesign's $149 is probably out of Ray's price range. He'll definitely use a premade dropship store because it's the only way to sell items without listing (and he has no off-eBay selling experience), but I think he'll go with Shopster ($70 for the 1st store plus $10 each additional store) because it would allow him to setup multiple "appropriately linked" category specific webstores...plus he could also use the same account to sell dropshipped items on his preferred venue eBay since Shopster integrates with eBay. [/quote] You're both wrong!!!! He'll go the free route with Marketshare -like I just did. :twistedevil: |

Quote:He'll go the free route with Marketshare -like I just did. His chances of making money from an Amazon A-store are about the same as they would be for a Dropshipdesign store --NONE.  He could create up to 100 category specific A-stores on each Amazon Associates account for free though. Just because you build it doesn't mean they will come (see WP's largest store or HiBidder's largest store for prime examples). You can make money by dropshipping products but not the way Ray (or FMG) is going about it, and not if you're primarily using middlemen like DSD/Doba/etc. |

Time for the Monthly Bloodbath on the dynamic, "growing", revolutionary site we all know and love.
81 Stores. And to think had it not been for the naysayers, trolls and paid eBay informants that frequent this thread, WP would have been eBay's largest competitor . . . (insert sarcasm smiley, wherever it is) :turkey2: :turkey2: :turkey2: :turkey2: :turkey2: |

Quote:Historically, had every Wagglepop seller who signed up decided to stay and/or honor the User Agreement if I hadn't been such a lying sack of shi.t bastard conman who never accepts the blame for my own mistakes, we would have in excess of 7,000 Wagglepop Stores, and very likely more media attention than we could even imagine. |

I guess he can always raise the monthly fees another ten dollars to help cover that lost profit.
