The site is still down.  With only 81 stores, I'm wondering did he pull the plug this time for good.

Amazes me how he goes on and on all the time about how he could have had in excess of 7000 stores if we miscreants only would have honoured the User Agreement.  uhhhh  So he is once again saying that in excess of 7000 losers did not pay their WP bill?

Yes, Indeed it is sad, to see so many stores leave!

Ray probably thinks that the reincarnated stores make the WP marketplace look like it has some longevity for potential new sellers.  :turkey1:

But he's in a pickle, because he also has to give the current sellers  drinkers hope that more sellers are joining their ranks - so does he reincarnate or does he create another new ID selling drop shipped bird houses, bedding or bras.

With an eye on building upon our strong foundation for an even stronger and more productive future, I though I would take some time today to bring membership up to date on what we have scheduled over the next few weeks.

I personally (and we as a company) like the ways in which Wagglepop has evolved away from our "eBay inspired" beginnings into a site where serious sellers can find a true "home" and full support for their efforts. We take great pride in continuing to provide a site with a terrific performance record and standard, top notch Customer Care, and a feature rich value packed offering that benefits sellers equally with buyers.

In our continued effort to support the very best in online buying and selling we have the following integrations and initiatives scheduled:

1. Completion of New Display Sets

Included for completion peripherally is migration of the new display set to Stores, updating of sitewide screenshots, elimination of the Bold listing upgrade, and bolder individual category browse headers.

2. Wagglepop Marketshare

Expect integration of Marketshare within the next 60 days, giving potential buyers access to items and products not populated by Marketplace Merchants.

3. Introduction of the We The People Leadership Council

Correspondingly, we will be asking Leadership Council members for direct input as membership representatives on an ongoing basis and as appropriate ask that they function as independent "real world" liasons between potential members or media and Wagglepop.

4. Delinquent Accounts Amnesty

We will be offering a short term amnesty program for all delinquent accounts not yet referred for collection.

5. New "Entering the Marketplace" Seller Requirements

New sellers who wish to join the Wagglepop Marketplace will have more precise and stringent requirements and "good faith" actions that need to be met to do so. Our Marketplace is one of the strongest and best performing anywhere online, and we will do everything required to protect and nurture that.

6. Expansion Discussion

With a considerable amount of time and money invested into creating and running Wagglepop, we are in a unique position to possibly leverage that into new selling opportunities - possibly new sites!

As many sellers know, more exposure - different exposure - can and often does lead to more traffic and sales. Wagglepop really works, and although there are many things that we cannot do due to the participation numbers, there are other things which exist as mostly funded, completed, and reproduceable in terms of background code needs.

We have several ideas we have discussed internally as to format and focus, and we will have public thread for membership input and to gauge support.

Thanks for the update; to the possible expansion, is WP considering purchasing another site outright? Or just copying over existing online platform coding to create new satellite, spin off (sister) sites? And how much is that going to cost existing membership?..what I mean is will there be a choice in adding to the sister site for a small amount more because of existing seller status on the mother site, or will there be another separate $29.95/mth fee for each site? Lastly, will expansion=more cost per month to sell on WP?

While we have some general ideas internally, no firm decision have been made on expansion in application. We are counting on membership input to lead the final direction we take on that, but I think membership will ultimately find our general approach (as we see it currently) to be quite valuable and exciting.

Expansion will have no effect on the cost of participation on Wagglepop. The cost of participation for new opportunities can only be determined once they are established as projects, are budgeted and funded, are tested and recoded, have projections established, and standards of operation are set.
