Quote:Sherrand's issues and your issues have never been and will never be issues for me. My reality differs greatly from your perceptions. The issues Sherrand brings up are not just mine and hers, but the same issues encountered by a few thousand OTHER sellers, as evidenced not just by this thread, but threads on MANY other forums where some of these sellers have voiced the same concerns. Fact is, your reality is a world apart from the known universe. |
Fact is, that's the truth about your perception of reality, not mine. Fact #2, I will always go for the best decision rather than the popular decision. Everyone else in the world can jump off a ledge into the Grand Canyon if they think it's the thing to and 'everyone else is doing it'. I prefer to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground regardless of what 'everyone else' does. I'd not ever substitute anyone else's jugment (or lack thereof) for my own.

Hey, P.S. Got a clue what quicksand looks like?
Nothing at all like what you're trying to imply. Let's just say that the very worst possible case scenario happens, and WP has to shut down today. I'd still walk away with many thousands of dollars in sales that I would not otherwise have made (could've eventually made them on other sites, but would've had to sell at lower prices and pay higher fees = much less profit). I'd also walk away with a lot of knowledge and skills that I wouldn't have had if I weren't on WP including skills that I've found crucial for building my own website. I would not have the skills that I do now have and are essential for building my own website from the ground up if I hadn't been working with the customization tools on WP while learning from the people around me there. I found WP to be a fantastic stepping stone toward building your own site because it's a thousand times easier, yet still gives you the opportunity to gradually learn the tech skills needed to build your own site (not very easy, FYI).

Nooooo. You actually make more money on the one site you spam all over the net about, have nearly all your items listed on and have links up the wazoo to? Really? I'm shocked. |
How awful of me to list most of my items on the easiest to use and most effective site, and then have the audacity to link to my best store.

Proof that Wagglepop is the easiest and most effective site on the planet!
Oh yes, these sales are really killing me. I just got another one for $110 while I was writing this post. I don't know how much more of this I can take. |

All those "sales" on a bogus eBay look-alike summary, and NOBODY bothers to leave feedback. How odd. I'm sure it's not for your neglect at begging them to do so, like when you sponsored the "sell for a penny" mutual feedbackathons.
