Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
It does have a nice Taliban mall ring to it, doesn't it?
"Atomic" Mall. Visit and go BOOM. Here comes the blame... PS: Quote:It was never the difference of opinion that I had a problem with. What I don't like is that certain people (myself included) are personally targeted and strongly attacked because of those differences of opinion.Tell the truth... Reading back over this thread the difference of opinion caused a few select poppers to first personally attack the dissenters. That was fed by the PSU postings about how great the site was to full time sellers who were forced away from eBay who actually depended on their online income, instead of pushing them in the right directions of Overstock, Amazon, Etsy, Buy, Ruby, Gemm, or any of the other dozens of truly viable marketplaces. When those few poppers decided to go on the offensive, they became the direct focus of about 10% of all the negative posts about Wagglepop. They weren't even mentioned personally in any thread until they decided to attack the posters who wanted to tell the truth about Wagglepop. Nobody cared about attacking anyone but Ray until then.

Quote:the difference of opinion caused a few select poppers to first personally attack the dissenters. SO TRUE! I had nothing bad to say about WP until I simply asked some business questions of management and Mr. Kumbaya and a host of others (some of whom are TT-posting XPoppers and personally apologized for their attacks of me on WP) came down on my case saying I must be selling "junk", that I am liar and much, much more. Little miss PS, who posted the "difference of opinion" speech on WP has called me "hateful", "spiteful", "uneducated", "dillusional", "psychotic", a cyber-stalker, and suffering from Ahlzeimer's (among other things). I think the worst I've ever said about her is that she is Koolaid-drugged. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I was an enthusiastic supporter of WP until the blatant attack on DB. She and I had no prior relationship and if I remember correctly, we were trying to discuss business (I was new to online sales except for hobby at eBay) and she was attacked like a dog.
I sat back a couple of days and watched and then I got really mad (imagine that) and posted the thread asking why Ray's store on eBay was still open. That's when I got the boot. It was the best thing that ever happened to me.
I hate stupid people!

Quote:Reading back over this thread the difference of opinion caused a few select poppers to first personally attack the dissenters.... A small correction in the time line. The personal attacks on the dissenters came second. First came numerous emails and PMs from rabid Poppers to TT demanding that we remove this thread (and a few threats from Poppers to sue us for business interference).

Business interference?

That's really weird that she'd relocate to be closer to AM. Funny thing is though AM's phone is out of Madisonville, KY and their fax is out of Baltimore, MD? Does that make any sense?
All I know is that she knew way more than a seller should about WP as though she were somehow connected to it. |

It also makes me wonder if she has some connection to AM? She seems to be kissing ass over there on that site.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Over the past 2 years, I have done everything in my power to make sure online sellers know the real side of Wagglepop. The "deadbeat" policy of asking for closure. The 24 hour censorship. The history. The poor service. The cult atmosphere. The rabid poppers who slash you to bits over a single question about the viability of their site.
When I received the response in my sig below from Ray (Andrew, whoever the hell he wants to be) I put my total heart into destroying the site. A personal threat to me meant I could a) have him arrested for conspiracy to commit assault and murder, which he wouldn't have had the balls to try leaving his basement to do, or b) be sure that everyone knew exactly who they were dealing with. A liar, manipulator, greedy, seedy snake oil salesman who's job it is to convince every cult member that Wagglepop's problems are their own fault. Their fault for not advertising for him. Their fault for not spamming enough forums to get traffic. Their fault for not populating the marketplace. Their fault for not paying enough money. :peepants: It seems only about 10 sellers out of about 3000 deadbeats actually believed him to the bitter end. That was my goal. It happened with some of the most knowledgable business people online leading the way here at TT, and I am just glad to know I hopped on for the ride. My opinion, and the opinions of hundreds of others spoke. To all of the folks here, it has been an enjoyable couple of years on this thread. I would love to relive it, but I just don't feel the need any more. There will be another Ray Romeo soon, but since I won't be a part of the site I won't have much to say. Out of all my posts, this thread was 90%, and so I will be entering TulipTools semi-retirement. I'll pop in from time to time to check on what's happening with AtomicBomb, aSs, Plunderelsewhere, and other "favorites" of mine, but it's time to let my actions rest. Even if Ray finds a new "phantom" owner like I believe, the record of the site has killed it. It's done, even if it goes on. Good luck to all those who follow here. This will be my last post in this thread. So long Wagglepop. We didn't give a damn about ya. :raypoop:
