Subject: EN62821 LP Response to your email concerning eBay's listing policies. (KMM193280136V65330L0KM)

Hello,

Thank you for writing to eBay with your concern.  My name is Cleveland
and I would be happy to assist you.

First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delay in
replying to your email. At this time, we are experiencing an unusual
volume of emails. Nonetheless, you are a valued member of the eBay
community and we are working diligently to service our members.  Thank
you for your patience.

We understand the frustration you felt when you found out that your
listings had been removed from our site because of violating our Links
policy.

However after reviewing the said listings,  it was found that the
auctions were indeed listed correctly. I have amended your account to
reflect the removal of the violation. This violation will not be held
against your records.

We truly appreciate your understanding in this matter and ask that you
can excuse us this error in judgment.
The fees associated with these
listings have been refunded to your account. Please feel free to relist
the items as they were in compliance with the listing policy guidelines.

For a better understanding of our listing guidelines and how they affect
the way you list your items, please visit the following URL:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-ov.html

Thanks again for writing, and thank you for being part of the eBay
community.

Regards,

Cleveland

I went through the same crap when I posted a listing on the eBay India site.  I have a link to email me directly in all my listings, and they pulled it off the India site because of that.  It took my cutting and pasting the specific sections of the links policies (even the pages provided on the .in site) about 3 times before they finally replied that the links policy for that site was "in the process of" being revised to remove those sections as it wasn't allowed.  Why didn't the  Confusedmileyazwipe: just tell me that in the first place instead of letting my blood boil for two entire days because I knew damn well I was right?

I have a link to email me directly in all my listings too on the ebay US site.

"If you have questions about our items please feel free to contact us at
auctions@tlcwoodworks.com"

They have never pulled my listings because of it.

The policy states:

Sellers’ listings may include a link that opens an email client or Web form for potential bidders to ask questions about the item in the listing (links are not permitted from the Web form, however). Please note that the link may only be used to enable an email client or Web form. It may not direct a buyer to another Web page that promotes items for sale outside-of-eBay.

I've never had a listing pulled on any of my web sites.  Smile

Its things like this that make me wonder why people decide to build/start an "eBay business" rather than an "online business" where they would have total control over their business instead of being at the mercy of some other company's poorly trained customer service staff.  I prefer to set my own business policies rather than have some other company set them for me.  Smile

Right, because it IS allowed.  However I found out the difficult way that on the India site, it's NOT allowed, despite the fact that at the time (and probably STILL lol) the policy pages over there say that it's allowed.  After two whole days of emailing back and forth with me repeating the same quotes from the links policy over there, they FINALLY clued in and told me that it wasn't allowed and that they were in the process of revising those pages to take that allowance out.    Smileyyellowbang

I know what you mean on all Counts BBH.
When I scan over the boards at ebay it amazes me of how many ask questions about anything as if it is allowed or not.
It is as if they are ALL actually WORKING for ebay instead of the other way around.
In reality for so many and sadly, that is the case.

I wonder when they will do that at feebay US?

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m tired of ebay trying to tell me how to run my biz with all their anti competitive BS. They are no doubt really skirting anti trust laws at present IMO.

Re: Anyone know a good and cheap hit man?
On another note about my little buddy that this thread started out about:
His listings were just pulled at ebay.
Item Number(s):
4413676443 4414129502 4414130610 4414774559

Remember he signed his e mails to me as:
The eBay Community Watch Team?

So Mr. supposed “Community Watch Team’ member himself was trying
to sell his shhhh  IT  and circumventing ebay fees.
Glass racks at .99 cent and super high shipping.

I stumbled across these a few hours ago and decide what the heck.

Yes I became a ebay NARC for two minutes.
I see all kinds of violations all over the bay but I don’t report them.
But seeing as my little buddy likes to screw with mine, I figured he might as well at least get the same in return.

Hey John nys71 if you lurk here.  Thefinger

Next he will be impersonating a [Image: pinkpanter.jpg]  Sign10
