I've been watching it too.  A link to a blog article was next to the stock quote.  The article isn't good news for store sellers hoping to gain mass market support against the fee hike if the majority of buyers feel the way this blogger does about the fee hike:

Good News: eBay bows to consumer pressure

It doesn't matter what eBay dishes out... people will just try to figure out a work around.  ;D
[/quote]

That's what I did.  My work around was to stop paying pigbay's $5,000 monthly fees and sell exclusively from my website.  We shipped 2,000 website orders last month so the work around has worked very well. Smile

Posted message on eBay UK fee protest group.

It looks like both Australia and the UK are planning on August 15th..hint, hint that might be a good day for the US too.
"Well, Jay was so giddy that someone named Jay was involved with this site we posted our first non-eBay listing in 3 years here at Lunarbid (we tried two items at Yahoo once upon a time, they bombed)" -Marie posting in a LunarBid thread at OTWA in 2005 wins the award for 'most moronic reason ever given for choosing a venue"

"thanks twat u must have nothing better 2 do. do u talk to all your members like that. will not be recomending your site.
best way to put it is TULIPTOOLS.COM IS REALLY SHIT. DONT JOIN." -pubescent owner of rinky dink off2auction.com in 2011

Greetz, all!
I really don't think a one day boycott will accomplish much but....I am in in any event because I plan to simply close my Store before then, re-start a website.  Maybe an auction or 2 on greedbay, weekly, to attempt to drive traffic to my site.
In fact, I stumbled onto a special offer from Yahoo Stores, 25% off for 2 months.
