Quote:Tell me why there is no ebay search in the upper right hand corner of his landing page? Because he is either a Featured or Anchor store and has minimized the header, which removes the eBay search box. |

Quote:Now, I did a search for a specific item that I know a competitor sells in Store. Sure enough, the 25th item down the listings, showed that item by that competitor and it was NOT an auction, just a Store Listing. Re: STORE OWNERS BOYCOTT EBAY IN PROTEST
Hi - I don't know how to use the quotes, but the boycott is international, as I posted to a number of places, involving the US, UK, Italy, Sweden, and I'm not sure where else. Auctionbytes has some coverage of the UK strike from yesterday if you take a look!

Re: STORE OWNERS BOYCOTT EBAY IN PROTEST
The fact that the UK strike has received significant coverage on all the major media outlets in the UK means the strike achieved one of its primary aims.
Both QXL UK and eBid UK have benefitted from eBay's fee hike announcement. The QXL UK site now shows 188,000 items listed on its front page and eBid UK is up to 226,000 items and 2,700 stores (eBid US has also benefitted and is up to 200,000 items and 725 stores). |
