For those who can't get into SRG, here are some excerpts. Exciting stuff! 

I guess there's some consolation hearing that other people are finding that it is slow!

I've been very depressed and worried. Generally the first of September my sales go crazy and I just can't figure out what's happening.

My traffic reports are much lower than last year (and lower than last month--which is totally weird!)

I'm running auctions and basically wasting money because the sell-through is so low.

I dunno, I'm a typical entrepreneur--very optimistic but this is starting to worry me!

I just got an "outreach" ebay call promoting some ideas to use to get sales-join a group, look at competitor's ideas.....

When I complained about the lack of sales and that I hadn't experienced the usual Sept 1 bump as other years he suggested I call a specialist at ebay. He was very sympathetic and said he is hearing this from everyone he calls.

I complained, too, about auction sell-thru which has fallen drastically for me (used to count on 50-60%) and he said that since so many people closed their stores there are so many more auctions that auctions are not getting found.

Just last night I was re-evaluating the $$ I'm sending ebay without it paying off. I don't mind paying their fees if sales are commensurate but with sales WAAYYY off I'm wondering what to do.

And from one who is forever proclaiming on the SB that Ebay is where ITs at and talks about how well SHE does:

HI Guys, Well I think I have some egg on my face. I thought judging from last year I would be off and running, I almost was,,,labor day weekend did over 2400 on and off of ebay. Since then, sales have been lacking. LOL I never look at traffic reports or sales reports, but I did this time. And yes those little lines don't meet anywhere LOL.
Last year at this time, I was shipping 30 items a day or so, not this year.

Gee, I guess they are having the same problems on Ebay as everyone else. I wonder why they tell a different tale on the SB?

Anita, Babyyyyyyyy!  I joined from the get go when you'se gave me the Link.  I thought I had to in order to see wtf they babble about.

Cranky....My 9th grade algebra teacher used to say that it don't take much to amuse a damn fool.  Suffice to say, I wanted to join and did, to be amused
