Cycling . . . yes or no

I've read on the AZ board posts about cycling . . . and I've gotta say, I'm starting to believe it.  I'll go DAYS without an AZ sale and then books fly off the shelves like hotcakes.  (I had two $25 books sell to different buyers a minute apart today. )    It's happened so many times . . . I'm starting to believe it. 

How about you guys? 

Has it been just a 9 month long coincidence for me or is there something to it?

I've read it on the eBay boards about eBay doing it too, and I've experienced it on both sites.  We don't get the same dead periods followed by a day or two of heavy buying on our web sites that we've experienced on both AZ and eBay. Maybe there is something to the rumors.
