I have been reading and messing around with the files, and I am now nearly ready to bloody scream!
It is all like so much Greek to me, lol. It is very frustrating.

We're using B2Evolution in the article center.  Each tab is a separate blog with one master blog tieing them together.

I don't know.    We went with it because the multiple blogs/multiple users and authors features were better than WordPress.  WordPress has more plugins available for it though and is probably a better choice for a single blog.

it is not that hard to use, and pretty straight forward once you get a hang of it.
