Has anyone found an explanation of what the various shipping options actually do? The names themselves really don't tell you much. I am trying to decide on how I want to handle shipping charges but I can't do that if I don't understand how each of the options function.

I swear that I have looked for an explanation but, as usual, I can't find one. Big Grin

You could just do a PC4S and NOT ship. :twistedevil:

I'll look at the shipping options on osC and see if I can help...after I finish eating my Gyro (said to torture XPP who is probably fresh out of gyros at this late hour). Smile

I was thinking about installing all of them and then see what kind of trouble THAT would get me into. The only thing that stopped me was the fact that I am a chickensh.it. Tard

Use the database backup tool in the admin before doing it.Â You can install/uninstall the shipping modules and shouldn't have any problem.

How I do shipping in Zen (as if anyone cares)

I use the zones shipping x 7...i.e. I took the zones file and renamed it 6 times (and renamed a few of the lines inside the files to reflect the new names) so each zone file is set up for a different class of USPS mail (priority, registered,Â 1st class, bla bla fr_k'n bla...) Smile

.Â I have 6 zones files that calculate shipping based on weight and 1 (the priority mail zones file) that calculates based on order total
