Art and Artists
I know, an odd thread/topic in a techy OAI forum. Tongue1

But, a few of us are artists here and at least one of us deals in art, so I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we could talk art and ask each other art-related questions.

Maybe we can even address the ongoing question of what is art and what is craft.Hmmm.......may need to move that one to the Brawlers Club. Big Grin

Re: Art and Artists

OK... I ain't the artist in the family... that would be my better half.  I wouldn't know a parrish from a picasso... ok, that may be a bit extreme...

But, since you asked "what is art", I feel compelled to participate and give you my opinion.

After spending mucho time abroad in various lands, I've determined that art is anything naked.

OK... derail mode off... you can continue your conversation in peace.  Sunny

Re: Art and Artists
Anita, are you in Arizona?

There is a school in Scottsdale (art) that has some of the best life-drawing classes (and finest male models :blinkie:    ) in the country.

Many of the teachers also teach at The Art Students League in NY.

I took a couple of workshops from David Leffel there and loved them.

So anyway, just  take a class, girl. Enjoy. Laughing7
