It's just plain search manipulation. Loud and clear.

It's just plain search manipulation. Loud and clear.
It certainly looks like it. The question is, who will be the winners and who will be the losers? And why are some sellers given a heads-up and others not? |

Maybe they just know the ebay patterns of behavior at certain times of the year. Maybe they just search for clues with what the PTB's have programmed everyone to say in their quaraterly earnings reports. Clue in on the spin. |

I firmly believe it's search manipulation. Ebay can turn on search, turn it back off, selectively hide stores, and stick only NEW stuff on Express. Some day someone will prove it. THAT class action suit will be a doozy.
Was the thread yanked? I don't see it...
Sorry, FG. It's in the SRG; not on the stores board. I wondered if Marty was going to share his "news" with the SB but I guess not.
OK... that's what I figured after posting...
He struggles just like the rest of us...only no one posts about that. He's honest about what his business model is. If anyone is drinking kool aid, it's of their own free will.
I disagree... about the honesty part, anyhow. Marty has NEVER (to my knowledge) admitted to selling Chinese-forced-labor CRAP, all the while telling everybody earlier this year how the BAD ECONOMY was a large part of ebay's woes. Last I checked, the US/China trade gap is at record levels, and on track to set new records next year. I'm quite certain that the trade deficit is a large part of the struggling economy. Cheers |

THAT class action suit will be a doozy.
Full disclosure: TulipTools can manipulate search if we feel like it: (A) we can turn it on and off for different member groups and guests, (B) we can selectively turn it off for specific individual members and © we can influence the search results that are shown by changing the search weighting: Quote:Relative search weight for number of matching messages within a topic (?): 30% Since this forum software can 'manipulate search', I'd have a hard time believing that the millions eBay has spent on developing their search hasn't given them the same capability to manipulate results. |

Re: Voices Hobby Seller shrieks "LIST NOW LIST A LOT LIST LIST LIST!"
I don't feel like reading.  What is this week's magic cure for dismal sales? Should I stop using last week's surefire way to reinvigorate sales? Should this latest brainstorm be used in conjunction with flipping the vacation switch and balancing a fork on my nose? :
