It's not the picture size because all of them are in the same size range.

I hit Browse; bring up the file in my computer; click open; and it SEEMs to take. The file name shows up. But when I hit Preview, the text is there and the image that I have included in my HTML (hosted on the web elsewhere) but NOT the image that I uploaded...just the dreaded pizza box. Just for the heck of it, I even tried going ahead with Insert anyway but no image shows up on the site.

umm that does sound like something technical at the server side to me.
Regic is screwing around again or BBH loaded some new thing.  ???

Just those two pics do it huh?
I mean you loaded others since then in the same way right?
and THEY come up...

I think it's osCMax.  Try renaming the 2 files: e.g. change book.jpg to socks.jpg
