The Difference in Terms of Value: .com/.biz/.net/.info
I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer.
1. If I were to register a GREAT domain name as a .net or .biz, would that be a wise move or should I stick with .coms? WHy or why not? 2. Would it be wise to set up a blog on my own site as say, Bling.info? This is as opposed to a blog on one of the popular blog sites. Why or why not? |

Re: The Difference in Terms of Value: .com/.biz/.net/.info
Most people type .com first when they're looking for a website.
The value of the domain name depends on the name and other factors. There are some .com names that are worth $10 while some .net names are worth $100,000, and vice versa. I'd setup the blog on your own site instead of using a 3rd party blog. |
