Anyone have a Ruby Lane shop?
I'm opening a Ruby Lane shop and would like to give someone a referral credit. If anyone here has a Ruby Lane shop, PM me your user ID and I can fill you in as the person who recommended me, so you get some kind of credit.

Re: Anyone have a Ruby Lane shop?
Hi thentavius, If you don't find a TT boardie with one, head on over to auctionbytes... there's a few RL users over there (along with quite a few disgruntled RL customers, also!). If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose RL over Tias, goantiques, et al ? (just curious) I don't have any experience in any of the malls... but I have had some really nice phone calls form GoAnt. reps wanting us to open up a store there. |

Never heard of Tias and goantiques. LOL.
I can list on those as well. Do they allow artwork? Or does it all need to be antique?

You can also check out Trocadero. Not sure about their fees.

I'm not certain of their listing policies regarding (presumably) newly made artwork... but here are the links: http://tias.com/makeashop http://www.goantiques.com/join http://www.trocadero.com/ExpressStorefront http://www.cyberattic.com/newdealer Best of luck! Re: Anyone have a Ruby Lane shop?
OK. Checking these things out. My big question is, how do we know which of these antique/art venues gets the most sales / traffic?
They're all charging about the same price, give or take, and none of them are super cheap. Any success stories out there? Any sales charts? They all look great.

Re: Anyone have a Ruby Lane shop?
Thentavius, you might even go over to the Antiques community section on ebay and see if there's any scuttlebutt talk over there about other venues. I know there were grumblings several years ago about no to few sales on rubylane, but things may have changed. I'm sure I've heard talk about Tias from over there before. You can forget about visiting the art & artists board. It sux.
