If life would allow me, I would be the perpetual student. There is almost nothing that is not of interest to me. Consequently, I find that I frequently run across web sites that are, IMO, the best for a particular task/topic/subject, on the net. This thread, which I hope will become a valuable resource itself, is the result.

Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.
It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go.

Available for Windows, Mac and LInux. Includes a User Manual. GREAT resource for astronomy  enthusiasts! I currently have it on my pc and love to play with it.

Absolutely the best place to search for information and answers on all aspects of fish-keeping, large and small... all welcome to apply!

For those active in the hobby, you find out quickly that information on many aspects are quite vague, such as disease control and fish compatability.  (I am not active in fish keeping... at the moment... but I was the former owner of a large black water aquarium for many years and can answer a few questions if they're not too tough!)
