Links to the BEST Resources on the Net
If life would allow me, I would be the perpetual student. There is almost nothing that is not of interest to me. Consequently, I find that I frequently run across web sites that are, IMO, the best for a particular task/topic/subject, on the net. This thread, which I hope will become a valuable resource itself, is the result.
When posting a resource/link here, please follow these guidelines: ~You must have used this resource or checked it out yourself. ~Please give a description of what the content is/offers. If applicable, describe what you have used it for. ~Links can be resources to be used in a business context or personal. ~Please (pretty please ), let's keep this on topic and refrain from interpersonal discussion except as related to a particular link. ~Please post only 1 link category per reply (makes it a little easier for people to find a particular type of link). ~Please name a category into which the link would fit, IYO. |

Aquarium References & Resources - Salt, Fresh, Brackish, Reef, etc.
Category: ehhh... Fishkeeping? Hobbies? Biology? Absolutely the best place to search for information and answers on all aspects of fish-keeping, large and small... all welcome to apply! For those active in the hobby, you find out quickly that information on many aspects are quite vague, such as disease control and fish compatability. (I am not active in fish keeping... at the moment... but I was the former owner of a large black water aquarium for many years and can answer a few questions if they're not too tough!) WetWebMedia http://www.wetwebmedia.com Many industry professionals, expert hobbyists and students frequent this board, perhaps the best-known is Bob Fenner, marine biologist and former science teacher. |
